Well there's been a couple of deals gone south, which were originally hoped to bear fruit- the JDA with Huntsman seems to have stalled, and then the disappointing performance with Flowtite. The medicine has been severe though, with a reduction to around 1% of higher share price. Company is top heavy with executives which I think could afford to be thinned out. Someone has some faith mind, with a 3000000 share buy reported after hours.

Not so sure- very different market to QD's. There will be a small amount of overlap I guess.

The gen 2 materials are an r&d venture at present, as stated in the interview, so it’s not an agreement for production at the moment. I would expect that be inked with a view towards fy2021 at the earliest.

The 18p price was there for around a couple of hours, how many shares you could of bought at that price is debatable. They were certainly available for a long time in the low 20's, how many having a whinge had the courage to pony up then? I recall many predicting that the shares would collapse to under 10p, but that never happened.

I expect substance trumps style for OEM's. i dare say there is competition out there in micoLED land, question is how Plessey/Nanoco tech stacks up against that. Looks good so far.

Perhaps have some logical basis for a price prediction. I don’t think many had considered Apple a serious potential partner until Deutshe Bank made their statement.

The media tends to focus on the hi-tech uses of the material, but I believe the real use for it is in more prosaic applications, like paints, lubricants and enhancements of existing technology- a super additive.

Bit of a question mark over whether other companies genuinely have fully cad free QD's. We know Samsung via Hansol have cd free, but that's exclusive. I do wonder if they've decided to share that tech with Nanosys, but if they do have Cd free, why are they still mucking about with cad light Hyperion film?

Who else QMC? Not sure they're in any position to challenge Nanoco. Something else to consider, which had been raised before- why did a major US corp come to a small UK company for their tech when they have two QD manufacturers on their doorstep?

You have a choice, you can invest long, short or not at all.

I think Plessey are very likely to be working with Apple, bearing in mind there are very few companies out there able to expertly produce microled technology in a mass produced form, coupled with the patents Apple hold in this arena, plus Apple don't 'manufacture' components, they create software and brand IP, then contract companies to exclusively produce on their behalf.

Apple are losing market share to the likes of Samsung and Huawei, so they need to knock it out of the park with future releases if they want to win customers back and take new ones. If they can merge QD enhanced 3D cameras with microled screens, faster processors and enhanced battery life, that will put them back on top- for a little while at least.

I used the past tense as some of the companies models are no longer in production, but had been within the last couple of years. At least two of the companies mentioned have models in current production- Vizio and Phillips, and they don't have Nanoco dots in them. As Nanoco state that they are the only commercial supplier of CFQD (Hansol being tied to Samsung's apron strings), doesn't take much deduction to figure out those sets contain cadmium, which was your original question.

Visio, Phillips. Hi sense, TCL, Asus. I believe they have all had Nanosys cadmium QD film in their sets.
