Not quite sure how anyone gets their kicks from posting about a company they’re not invested in or any interest in investing in. Must have far too much time on their hands.

Nanoco is competing in an industry which is barely getting started. Until Samsung released their QLED tv’s barely anyone’s had heard of Qd’s And they only have a minimal visibility in the market now. I think that will change and ramp very quickly in the foreseeable future though, as QD’s have some unique qualities that will prove invaluable in many markets and industries outside of display going forward.

Not exactly, the Deutsche Bank briefing added gravitas, but a lot of the speculation about Apple, has been to do with the way they've published lots of patents featuring QD, and also purchased companies with QD enhanced tech eg. Invisage.

Can’t see them going into iPhones, yet. Based on materials being ready for end of 2019, refresh for iPhones is usually September. Maybe 2020 iPhone and the contract is exclusively for car sensors at present? All assuming it’s Apple of course.

Delayed rather than dead perhaps. No guidance from the last update indicated they were all done with display, although the lack of products to date in that area doesn't inspire confidence.

Perhaps cost is an issue, not to mention performance perhaps not quite up to cadmium standard, or perhaps they are planning on making the switch when forced to do so by legislation?

Whether they release information or not, they should be commercially producing for that company by then, and information will leak out via specs of products. If it is Apple, as has been suggested, then the timeline points to the 2019 iphone and/or Apple watch releases, plus there are strong rumours that Apple are working on AR/VR glasses. As this year is one where Apple typically raise the bar (2018 being an interim update year), then this year should see some notable updates. Pure speculation, and could in the end prove to be a red herring.

Good luck to those trading nano stock at this stage. We're just a few months away from finding out who this mysterious US corp is, and whilst risk is still there, news could arrive at any point between now and then.

The high levels of secrecy also suggest Apple.
