The last call with Nanoco was on or prior to 25 October NGR. LOAM weren't buying on 26th. They were buying late last week. Looks like I can keep up with current events as well as you with my current level of effort.

When was that call NGR? Just a few days ago? I thought it was a few weeks ago.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, I don't give it much attention now and I certainly don't waste my time on Brian Tenner's calls. I won't believe anything from this company other than MONEY through the door, and that will be announce via RNS.

Does it sound like the imminent commercialisation has been kicked down the road a couple of years? Vague as always.

One thing we can learn from this with some certainty. LOAM is still getting inside knowledge as they traded on this news a few days ago. That tells me that if there is an imminent deal then it isn't very big because LOAM would have bought bigger.

Oh I rather doubt it. The fund raise is to pay for their pay rises and bonuses.

I have worked out the flaw in my thinking... I was making the assumption that the market would perceive (as I do) that the £15m fund raise would add zero to the market cap as it gets dwindled away under bad financial management. Obviously the market doesn't believe that or the paradox I have created would take the share price down to zero... The final market cap will be something between £18m and £33m, maybe closer to £33m if we are lucky...

However, my comments on my mistrust of the management will now stand until I see some kind of turn around. I've seen it before too many times before, and this will be my last in either event.

Nobody, but nobody can manage a company this badly accidentally... More likely that they have struck a deal for a promotion into the company that is about to do a hostile take over. An I say that as someone who very angry to be stuck with a huge holding.

Thanks HeresHopin... I do hope you are right. However suspect that your example would mean we have 410 million shares worth 10p, and that would make the company worth £41m, which it is not worth. So unless the stock market looks upon this rights issue favourably enough to the company's value by double it doesn't work. Actually the market doesn't appear to be looking favourably upon this.

Since the company is currently worth £18m and you want to raise £15m you will need to dish out about 5 for 1... meaning a share price of 2.5p and since we need sell them at discount, it would be even more than that. And given that our low today was 16p we would actually need to dish out about 15 for 1 at about 1p a share.

Does anyone actually have any insight into this?

Well you can't raise £15m from equity when the company is valued at £16m... In fact you can't raise it from loan's either or a combination of the two... unless I'm bad at maths.

Absolutely disgraceful mismanagement.

But they have just burned 800k of cash between end Aug and end Sept, so they must be at zero by now. £1.2m will last them to the end of November at this rate.

The company is valued at zero because nobody has to pay for it's products. They can have them for free.

I've never seen anything quite like the performance of this share. It defies all literature on the principles of finance.

Each remaining share will get a larger proportion of the profits.

And the share price will go up to reflect that. The market currently believes there will be no profits, so the share price will go up zero.
