Honestly GigWitty, everyone is entitled to their view, and with all views available one can see the entire range of possibilities and then try to balance them. Why would you be concerned that shareholders are suddenly going to disregard everyone else and take hold of Sammy's view as being the guaranteed outcome?

NGR, the most alarming part of the recent Edison publication was the abysmally worded "If the company retains any of the final settlement money...". Someone from this forum had to go and ask for clarification on this and the response confirmed that they weren't necessarily expecting *no leftovers*.
This has allowed trolls to trash the company to spread fear regarding the value of this share.
Edison have proven themselves NOT to be "very important" as you say. I wish that I had not read their publication in the first place, and I certainly have no interest whatsoever in anything else they might have to say.
If Edison recommend it, I will NOT have any interest in buying it!

You may well be right. I had assumed they meant lost income to nanoco vs lost revenue to nanoco. I was not considering that they may have been comparing lost income to nanoco with the revenue model for samsung.

ok - thanks. So a weighted average with the DOW dots has a gross margin in excess of 90%.

Can anyone remember to gross margin for dots manufactured at Runcorn? BT mentioned it in one of the presentations in 2022.

Hawi, BT said the gross margin was high. I think I recall ~80% though I might be wrong. That is on the dots produced by Nanoco. The gross margin for the royalties from DOW would by 100%. So given that the vast majority were going to be manufactured at DOW, the weighted average has to be close to 100%.

I agree JBongo. The majority of the dots were always going to be manufactured by DOW, and so would have been royalty based. The minority of dots that could have been produced by Nanoco would have also had a very high gross margin according to BT.
I don't see much difference between revenue and lost earnings.

I read your many messages on this board about the issues around sufficiency with the patents currently in the litigation, and they seemed to indicate that is there is not sufficient detail to produce the tech, then the patent doesn't satisfy the sufficiency criterion.

If the 'sufficiency' requirement of a patent is such that it's description NEEDS TO BE sufficiently detailed to allow a POSITA to produce the tech without an undue level of experimentation, then why would Samsung partner with us in future? Surely they would just use the tech?

If our first product is the Apple AR/VR then I presume that we have already made the first official batch of sensors for the European customer? And that the next batch will be on order if Apple finds it to be a success? Sorry for my ignorance - I don't know how this works. Thanks.
