The thing that stinks isn't so much that LOAM had privileged information. After all, we knew that Turcan was on the Board, and he always had some flexibility to sell.

What stinks is that BT was telling the market ALL ALONG that the value to the company was multiples of what Turcan knew it would probably be.

This created an information advantage whereby LOAM could benefit at the expense of the misinformed PIs... up to a premium of 42p on Friday 6th January.

So GigWitty, you believe that LOAM acted on inside information!

The only reason they could have known it was their birthday as you say, is if they knew the real value in relation to what you propose they might have read on this forum.

As you well know GigWitt, the problem is that the CEO led us to believe it would be higher.

Please don't quote the recent RNS again. Loot at every other presentation over the past 2 years! It all has to be looked at together to gain an understanding of what BT was communicating. And todays settlement value is NOT anything like he led us to believe!

The share price is now sub 27p. It has been above that price for almost all of the past year.

How far back do we need to go to get the point where the market cap was at a level where the litigation outcome would be multiples of the market cap? We would need to go back to February 2021.

Since February 2021 BT has been claiming that this would provide multiples of the market cap. This was misleading.

The reason I ask is that there is no basis for your defence of him.

Well, once LOAM knows that the the BoD are happy to settle for ~$150m (equating to a share price of ~30p), you just need to keep telling the market that the litigation will be multiples of that level...

Give it some time.... and LOAM can sell down happily over time at 30p-40p and everyone buying the shares thinks they are on to a good thing. Everyone's happy!... Because LOAM know they've have all their potential returns, and the new shareholders think they are going to make good returns.

I guess it was fairly transparent in a way. LOAM were letting us know all along what they thought the true value was.

This current management needs to bolster investor confidence its steadfastness in defence of OUR IP.

If I were a feeble Nanoco, accepting a simple settlement sum, the kind of which would leave me with a pittance after expenses…. and if Samsung were getting all the rights to do whatever they wanted with my IP having given me my pittance…. why would it take all of 30 days to sign an agreement on that?

Can anyone help me to understand why that would take so long to negotiate?

The ticker has tocked… And we now have a maximum of 103 hours until an RNS is released. Probably sooner, possibly an extension to the negotiations, but certainly some greater level of certainty. Let’s hope they learned some lessons from the appallingly worded RNS of 9 Jan!

I agree Kind. I will have no belief in the company at all if they have caved in. Shareholders need a reward rom THIS litigation - not just the directors and lawyers.

Median doesn't always equal mean... Depends on the distribution of outcomes.
