Just heard that a good friend in his 80's recovering from an operation and in respite within a small spotless local cottage hospital has contracted the virus. No visitors allowed and I doubt PCR was used for testing. This is so dangerous. Friend was quite poorly when he went in so I suspect the virus will finish him off not to mention all the likely upheaval at this hospital!

A good interesting response guys and it just shows the commitment to SNG. It has decided me with research to sell one of my holdings and use proceeds to top up with Synairgen as I somehow doubt SP will drop much further. I never thought I would enjoy the company of so many drug dealers :)

My biggest holding is in Unilever my anchor stock closely followed by NCYT, ITM (also smaller investment in PHE) and SEE. Will have a look at AYM, MickeyBigBucks but tempted to top up with SGN as price dropping.

Out of interest, what % of your portfolios are invested in SNG? I have a modest 3% but this is dwarfed by my holding in NCYT which is likely to explode when 2020 results come out later this week possibly.

Does anyone think Novacyt's dual listing could eventually pose a problem in terms of speed of acquisitions and would London prove the better 'home' for the company or is this aspect still too small to be of any hindrance..

SNG had a good write up in the Lancet and I like the idea of this drug being able to ease the horrors of Covid and age old illnesses like Asthma.

He's not the only one - I have as many Synairgen as NCYT.

We may get a good press in Sunday newspapers which will undoubtedly reflect in SP on Monday.

Thanks guys - very helpful. As has been suggested it would appear that should early P3 results prove successful that implementation could start quickly especially from the US who are likely to be in ultra panic mode by that time - -it's bad enough now! They , like the rest of the world, are desperate for any sort of game changer.

The result of phase 3 could be around April. Would all countries results be announced as one set or could one country... the first to complete its trial... divulge its results before the others. Unlikely I suspect but I doubt SNG will receive all test results at same time. It would be good to know how trials are progressing.

... I saw the excellent coverage on BBC today but not on ITV or Sky news. Did anyone see it on these channels?

The team running the trial say they hope it will be completed by early summer.

If the results are anywhere near as good as in the earlier trial, they expect authorisation for the drug to be used in patients in the UK and other countries to follow shortly afterwards.......so it is looking like July before treatment applied in NHS etc

... to the Company state of affairs in a fortnight's time, what are Novacytians' feelings re SP? Do you think there will be a flurry of last minute buying amongst the faithful in anticipation of good or better than expected news or some panic selling from those who have already made a mint and are a little concerned about the resolute lack of news? Many like moi, I suspect, have thrown caution to the wind and have broken the rule re % of holding in one's portfolio but will hold tight. If the SP reaches £12 again, I will be content and frankly do not expect it will reach the heady figures suggested by some. Time will tell...

So these nurses -- the ones who refused the vaccine are putting their charges in risk during the 3 week (after vaccine) risk period. Lots of nurses have 'something' against vaccines - it's the same with flue vaccines -- I wonder why?
