I continue to be impressed by the comments and in depth knowldge of some posters. However, despite the hundreds if not thousands of comments over the year (by Porky and clone Troublesome alone :) ) , does anyone seriously believe this BB carries the slightest influence with the BOD? I certainly value the comments by the few but wonder if this BB to some extent simply acts as a safety valve and platform to vent ones anger. Perhaps GM has visited our site in the past but I doubt he wants more grief. How many members do we have on average -- any idea? It would be great to think that GA has looked in even today to savour the ire of most SHs. His first few weeks in office and actions may (hopefully) give us an inkling as to how he intends to react with all the frustration - assuming he is aware of all the angst! To summarise - are we all wasting our time?

Down almost 8% now but I feel we have seen the worst. Suspect Nova are clearing the decks for more upbeat news in a few days time and don't want to muddy the water. I am holding.

... the reason for the long delay in release of our new all singing all dancing LFTs. Are they still awaiting official clearance or is there a deeper problem? This is most unlike NCYT as they are normally good as sticking to time scales but these tests are now 2 months overdue I believe.

Nova keep advertising so may be able to fit you in in some category. Double whammy as you will be closer to all the action and perhaps drop the occasionaly tip to your long suffering shareholder colleagues!

@PI100 We are singing from the same hymnbook. Little appears logical about this share and even seasoned investors here appear completely flummoxed and perhaps banking on a big increase should the DHSC issue reach an amicable settlement.

Many here state again that our SP woes are solely due to the DHSC contract mess and give the impression that once this matter is resolved that the SP will soar! I am not entirely convinced. Whilst I agree the SP is likley to increase considerably, what if a large amount of shareholders breathe a huge sigh of relief to break even and sell never to be seen again thankful to be out of AIM and this so frustrating share. Others will sell making a substantial profit. What if the SP then plummets to below £4 again and IIs still show no sign of investing? One cannot rule out this scenario and it may take many years for the company to establish itself 'bigtime' so the current shenanigans may well continue leaving a lacklustre SP. So many 'experts' here have called this share wrong that nothing would surprse me.

What a charming chappie you are troublesome. When Porky posts, one can safely bet you will chip in with a supporting comment.... thousands of them in fact! You conjure up an image of either a pet parrot perched on his shoulder or a puppet whose strings are manipulated by him. I guess you have little else to occupy yourself. Life is too short so it's the green bin for you I am afraid where you can chirp away or robot dance to your hearts content :) Have fun!

I would welcome and endorse a Company share buy back as it seems to be one of the few ways of increasing shareholder value. The saliva LFT clearance etc will probably increase revenue big time and momentarily increase the SP which will again be quickly decimated by all the backroom skullduggery. As has been mentioned the DHSC contract dispute could run well into next year -- it's anyones guess and we are unlikley to get any guidance from Nova re progress. I have dismissed the ridiculous SP broacasts repeated by Porky and a few others to the point of an obsession and frankly ignore his posts now -- they just irritate me and many others - he is simply playing his own little game. Hopefully I will breakeven perhaps with a smidgen of a profit sometime next year and then its good riddance to AIM!

@Kaeren 'Once I sell Novacyt I'm out of aim'. I suspect that goes for many on this bb K. I will sell over half when (if ever) I break even and the balance when I make a reasonable profit -- large enough to cover the considerable losses through selling many other shares to buy NCYT - all of which would have made me a good profit (woe is me) as three were the subject of take overs -- can you believe it! I keep hoping Nova will be a fourth!

@Rcdm. A very sensible feet on the ground post. We must not get too carried away with Nova. I am sure that some IIs are perfectly aware of the situation and the DHSC albatross round the company's neck but still, despite its healthy finances with seemingly lots more to come, they are hestitant to buy in at these so called low levels. You have to wonder why they are virtually all holding back as the SP cannot surely have much further to fall. Must confess, I am now looking towards next year to hopfully break even when I will sell at least half my substantial holding and balance my portfolio. There are many other worthwhile stocks around with far more stability.

I have a gut feeling that Kaeren may be right in that GM will want to go out with a bang. Doubtless he and colleagues are pushing very hard to reach a settlement on the DHSC contract before he goes so it would not surprise me if we get a RNS before or on that Wednesday -- a popular RNS day with Nova. If so, this more than anything I imagine, will open the floodgates to IIs investments etc and set the scene for a lucrative future from pending saliva LTF and other important diagnostic areas. Not long to wait now!

At Investors Meeting, didn't GM say that two thirds of shareholders were French. This really took me by surprise!

Hopefully David Allmond will revitalise this whole area currenlty sadly lacking.
