Synairgen to Present Clinical and in vitro Data on the Antiviral Activity
of SNG001 at the 8th ESWI Influenza Conference
Southampton, UK – 6 December 2021: Synairgen plc (LSE: SNG), the respiratory company
developing SNG001, a formulation for inhalation containing the broad-spectrum antiviral protein
interferon beta for the treatment of severe viral lung infections, announced today an oral
presentation and a poster presentation at the 8
th European Scientific Working Group in Influenza
(ESWI) Influenza Conference, which is taking place virtually from 4-7 December 2021.
The oral presentation will highlight clinical data demonstrating the antiviral activity of SNG001 in
the lungs of patients with asthma and those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The poster presentation will highlight in vitro data showing the antiviral activity of SNG001 against
Alpha, Beta and Gamma SARS-CoV-2 variants.
