Apologies... wrong board!

Didn't RM recently state there would be a write up of latest findings in one of the respected medical journals soon.... hopefully The Lancet like last time if I recall correctly?

The only logical reason I can think of is that BOD are unconvinced we will win the Court case and will have to compensate the DHSC. What an incompetent bunch but they are financially bombproof so have nothing to lose. They clearly give not a jot for shareholders and we are powerless to intervene no matter how much ranting on this forum. What a fall from grace!

...I had a sinking feeling the first time I saw and heard DA despite making allowances for his irritating sniff and scruffy appearance. Subsequent rare viewings have still not impressed me -- he is hardly the type one would follow climbing out of the trenches to attack the enemy. Seldom have I come across such an uninspiring CEO and I should have followed my gut instinct and got out soon after he took up the reigns but I am stuck like many others on this forum hoping that one day soon considering my few remaining years left, the tide will turn. At least he has one achievement to his name in that NCYT is easily my worst ever investment and that's saying something! He is clearly a thick skinned individual, completely impervious to shareholders' concerns and seemingly devoid of any emotions. Perhaps he is an android which would explain a lot!

Ventura1. Little expectation from tomorrow's meeting I fear. Our CEO sadly comes across as a lacklustre somewhat uninspiring individual and hardly the type to raise enthusiasm. One wonders how he got this job but it perhaps sums up the calibre of his fellow directors.

Ventura1. We appear a sadly depleted lot now with only a few old timers so to speak hanging on like grim death for better days which I feel sure will happen but doubt in my lifetime. Am just holding to try and claw a little of my losses back. Nova come across as a soulless concern.. probably the wrong phrase... as far as SHs are concerned and this is reflected in the lack of votes re the AGM.

DRB: I suspect you echo the thoughts of many SH's. I have become very disillusioned with Nova and the 'new' CEO hardly sets the heather on fire. I have watched and listened to him carefully several times now but he seems to lack a certain passion and character that one would expect from this position or do I expect too much? He comes across as a rather boring individual. I am holding tight here but will exit as soon as I can claw back some of my massive losses which could take several years. When you think how exciting this forum used to be and the laughs we had -- now, it's very much a damp squib. I will certainly not be voting for any increase for BODS.

The big plus is as I see it that our product will prove extremely beneficial to OTHER viruses -- we tend to forget this! We are besotted with Covid but there are so many long standing life threatening respiratory illnesses that have been with us for decades which could benefit. I suggest we publicise this to the maximum!

Dying out? So North Korea's concern about their massive Covid outbreak is all a pack of lies? Sadly they are refusing help from S Korea and China as observers are necessary so many will die needlessly. And of course SA where the disease has mutated. Think you are a little out of touch with the real world.

Our forum is a mere shadow of what it used to be apart from a handful of stalwarts trying to keep the flag flying for which I am grateful. However, my other disaster of a share Synairgen (SGN) has lept 40% this morning on an encouraging RNS so there is hope for NCYT and we tend to forget how AIM can surge dramatically on positive news albeit NCYT comes across as an enigma at times. Would it surge 40% on a DHSC settlement -- i wonder...

This is a nightmare and goodness know how long it will take us dig ourselves out of the morass. Looks like being a long disappointing year again as DA is devoid of any charisma and I view his presentations with as much enthusiasm as creosoting my fence.

... and to relieve the boredom ... who is likely to add to their 2022/23 ISA tomorrow?

Hysteria from the usual pathetic culprits this morning trying to fleece genuine shareholders who have the best interests of Synairgen at heart. Do not pander to these sad people but bin them! Heard a programme on Radio 4 the other evening featuring 3 Long Covid sufferers who were previously interviewed a year ago. All three were still suffering 2 years on. One, used to be a marathon runner is now confined to a wheelchair. This is a horrible illness and the breathless side is still frightening after several years although there was some improvement. Some are likely to suffer effects for the rest of their life. I did not appreciate just how many Long Covid sufferers there were in the Uk -- thousands and this must apply to the rest of the world. SNG still has a major role to play if they can get their act together and Covid could be with us for ever and a day. I am holding for sure.
