big screw up on ONE of the EfW contracts - I wouldn't mind but they've already completed other EfW jobs and one was for PNN (Viridor). meanwhile, "Wrongnose" has bugg ered off to another job - with a big chunk of cash FFS!

160m - big number to me but about 1/11th of the divi.

Not as good a choice at the moment (at the moment) as MARS in this sector but longer term (one year) it will be ok...but by then the shorters will have made their money and bought shares on the cheap. Needless to say, the long term holders will be calmly sipping their beer and letting the market get on with it!

MARS at 100p (or even at 110p) was pretty cheap! The yield is well over 6% and the divi cover is 1.9 - what's not to like? This is probably a reasonable time to consider GNK too.

Probably even a snifter of a divi ("Tesco style") would help.

The conclusion is "don't do it".

The share price went south when Bob Mc had a "dispute" and it ended with him being pushed. I can;t see why the sp has continued to suffer now that SB has been appointed. I saw one of the most stupid comments on this board by a (known) shorter! "YUP, and while they destroy the company they get shares for free.............." So, please explain the logic of management destroying a company but getting free shares!! ?
