Why don't they simply get on with it - bite the bullet if need be and move on? Of course, the last report did offer some positive news "As a result of the 'Fit for Growth' initiatives, the Group's operating profit for 2018 is now expected to be ahead of current market expectations."

Unless Mr Conn lied the Divi will be maintained..that's what he said. I think he's wrong to let his troublesome customers leave. They might be pain in the .... But they were customers adding to revenue.

ODONNELL mentioned the lag...when you look at the financials it does seem that CRST are running about 1 year behind the likes of TW and BDEV. All three of the above companies are strong at the moment and likely to stay so going forward. I own shares in all three but CRST is the smaller holding it the three. If the share price is still depressed in April - new tax year-old then I'll be tucking a few more away in my ISA.

Possibly down to low volumes and Goldman Sachs reducing their holding a tad.

p.s. this site (LSE) also indicates 3378 million shares ( click on NG Fundamentals above).

The state owns 32 million shares in NG.....but this is out of 3378 million so a tad under 1%. Data from SimplyWallStreet.

We had our company Xmas meal at a Marston's pub on 12 Dec. The weather was pretty bad and the car park ...well, let's just say Eddy the Eagle was there having some practice. The pub which was mid way between a city and a town ( i.e not far from the middle of nowhere) was reasonably busy for a Tuesday night. The meal was ok but we did go for the "twofer" . Not a bad ambience.

There was another regurgitated Daily Fail article over the weekend about TW houses and them selling on freeholds. ( picture of unsmiley couple *) . BDEV was also down similar percentage today. * Who went for a cheap buying option with no solicitors advice ... Caveat emptor - read the contract.

I don't hold any shares in Ocado but I've come here to join the gloatfest regarding shorting!!

There has always been a big debt associated with this share. Year End Debt (�M) 2012 2022 2013 2058 2014 3371 2015 3292 2016 2981 2017 2886 So the debt ain't something new.
