I feel this is too cheap. I can;t understand why the sp is down so much. The results are pretty good...ok, the divi growth rate won;t be as high going forward but at a current 7% + I'm not too bothered.

I've noticed this too on other shares - good results but the share price is driven down by the dividend.

Go out of business! Coltrane will then sue the BOD.

Over on the advfn boards, a comment was made that due to MSCI, the funds would need to sell off 45 million shares. Thus equates to about 2.3% of the total available shares. So, was the share price fall overdone today..?

Jeez, if IRV are one of the World's best then I wouldn't go anywhere near the others! How can anyone invest in a company that makes such a ludicrous claim?

Cant see much wrong here other than MSCI issue. Ok, debt is a little higher than I'd like but I do like the dividend , especially the special they announced. 6 quid is more than a fair price imho.

I topped up this morning at 586p.

Bill, the FCA will do diddly squat...Ringrose lied big time before getting out to Syrinix. It's been a tale of really poor programme management ( EfW). I wrote to Investor Relations several times urging them to do a rights issue ( when the SP was 120p). I told them not to leave it too long.

Maybe a special dividend on top of the Final. Nothing too drastic, maybe 5 cents + say 26 cents.

The shareholders are paying for the Ocado deal with a Rights Issue AND a divi cut! Heavily shorted and I'd be surprised if shorting doesn't increase.

No wonder Coltrane wanted rid of the BOD. How many private investors are going to "invest" ( waste) more good money in IRV and the directors themselves are not willing to invest.

With a P/E of 9 it looks like PSN is quite cheap. Hardly fully priced.

But the last close was 575p.

As I hold shares in BDEV I would have no complaint if they were indeed " up" today..but at the moment they seem to be a few pence down and have been all day.

Ok, if PSN dont get the gig, why are TW suffering?you'd think their potential share of the cake has just increased?

Hi Tom, we know TW have been selling houses with leasehold issues (but have stopped the practice). I'm guessing that ALL the housebuilders have tried on the practice to some extent to maximise their profits. So, to apply a policy to one ( Persimmon) seems daft. If you apply these rules to Persimmon you should apply it to all....then who is left to build houses in the qty needed? The question expressed my sarcasm. Maybe I made my point badly - seems to be the case.

Disclosure..I hold shares in TW, PSN and BDEV.

The news on PSN has been engineered to depress the sp just before what are predicted to be bumper results. There has been some fall out with BDEV and TW. But you have to ask ...just who will the Gov allow to build houses - someone has got to do it unless Mrs May decides to get her shovel out (she's good at digging holes).
