I would strongly suggest that any blame shifting for a former FD with many years of knowledge of VOD if they cut the dividend would not go down well at all. I would bet he would be asked to step down.

The buck stops with him. he cannot use the excuse that he's the new boy - he has intimate knowledge of the VOD books!

I can't see any director ( nor PDMR) sells in the last 12 months.....nor any significant buys!

This is a well run company which I would normally have no problem investing.. BUT...it's too risky due to government meddling.
