If you look at what the Chinese are doing with regards Australia, with its large Chinese population, they are teaching children in China that the Chinese discovered Australia, so sowing the seeds for a future generation that would/could want to bring Australia back to the mother country, China.

The difference with the likes of Blair and Putin is that many people in this country consider Blair a war criminal, not many Russians would say that about Putin.
