For once I was agreeing with your opinion on the monarchy, but you lose it when you bring in the piece about Tories and Brexiteers supporting the monarchy.
I am a Tory voter, I do not consider the present bunch to be Tories, they are just a bunch of chancers more Liberal than the Liberals. Boris is a consummate liar, not fit to run a bath. And I can not stand the monarchy, I cannot stand the honours system that rewards wealth and cronyism on a grand scale, look at the prat, Euan Blair made an MBE for being the 38yearold son of a discredited lying money-grabbing Labour leader, who himself recently received a knighthood. But we also have the first-ever knight of the realm leading the party of the downtrodden, work that out.
So many Labour supporters love the monarchy because without it the honours system would not exist, and so many socialists do love to be considered special people.

On the question of food, from the number of people riding bikes delivering food from some fast food supplier, one can only assume a large proportion of the population would prefer to pay over the odds for muck being passed off food, rather than cook a meal themselves. And it's the so called poor, as well as the better off, buying this over priced crap.
I would wager a good many on this board, have the junk, delivered to their front door. Poor quality food delivered by people who appear to be newly arrived immigrants being paid what?.
Overpriced fast food outlets prosper in the so-called poor areas, are people telling me the poor could not cook a meal for less than the price of some of the produce of dubious origins and equally dubious preparation. Most of today's problems based around food simply comes from the fact that certain people are too lazy to cook a meal.

I do not understand why the Ukrainians have not tried to destroy the Crimea Bridge, which would throw the Russian resupply chain into disarray, but there could be a reason for this inaction.
I would also point out that the Russians are lacking trained and qualified troops and are using up a large proportion of the stockpile of advanced weapons. The Russian government extended the age into the late 40s for men to enlist in the army, not a good sign either. And Russia still needs to watch its back, where would China use its tanks and infantry?

Well, they have found American-made microchips in Russian Helicopters, which have been shot down in Ukraine. and French optics in destroyed Russian armoured vehicles. We have been exporting important technology, to our potential enemies Russia and China for decades, money speaks loudest to Western businesses and Governments.
