machiismo.
It would be helpful if Blacks and you, remembered black Africa's contribution to the slave trade, they were the prime movers. Africans had their little empires, they enslaved each other and sold each other, is the person who buys a slave any worse a person than the person who sold the slave? And it may be of interest that most British colonies in Africa lasted around 80 years or even fewer, not 200 as most people appear to think, the Roman occupation of Britain lasted longer and they took slaves.
And again you like the blacks miss out on the other slavers, the Indians, who keep very quiet on their involvement, and the Turks and the Arabs. Zanzibar on the East Coast of Africa was a slave-trading centre that provided slaves to the Middle East and India and it was working long after we abolished slavery.
And further, the ones who became wealthy here in the UK via slavery connections were few in number.
I agree history must be remembered but truthfully, what are your thoughts on the plight of the homegrown slaves the poor British working class?. As I have pointed out several times in these posts, a certain man called Edward Taylor supported slavery and child labour here, he founded the Guardian Newspaper, and Churchills grandfather voted for the continuation of child labour. Wilberforce also employed child labour, in his North East Businesses but worried about black children!.
PS Mauritania is located in Africa and they still have slaves to this day, White Moors are of a lighter complexion and are free, Black Moors are darker and make up the slaves. Perhaps you should try taking the knee there .
