Every so many years there is some created reason, to draw back the average persons wealth.
No government anywhere wants the majority of its population to achieve to much wealth, which equates to personal independence. That is why this country wants the state to control everything and its people to be dependant on the state, we see it everywhere around the world even the EU. We no longer have a Tory party, that was taken over by the London centric Liberals like Boris and the civil service like wise, is now full of Lefty Liberals chasing their easy money and longing for a gong. Take Buy to let, even the Tories are having a go at the small landlord, but well look no further than this bank, the big boys want the business sown up amongst themselves, Lloyd's, Legal & General, Grainger etc.

Yes Norway has a smaller population and is in no hurry to increase it by millions every decade, for some reason we are and do!.

So the banks still allow people to go out and have alcohol and return to work, in any state ? with the banks acceptance. Well if they still do it, they could , as I said prior, be held culpable/ liable for any incident that may occur through the consumption of Alcohol /drugs with their blessing. Perhaps that is why and how they make so many mistakes !

Any company allowing alcohol to be consumed on its premises or seen to encourage it , could beheld liable for any incident arising from its consumption . When did you work for the bank! I myself once went for a lunch time drink but that was stopped long ago.

It should be illegal to knowingly lie to gain power and to lie to keep power.
If you lie in many walks of life you lose your job or could even end up in court.

I was under the impression it is against health and safety laws to take booze to work and to consume it in works time on works premises .
If this law applied to myself and for people whom I managed, when working it also applies to politicians and civil servants.

How many of us made the law and instructed the police to enforce it? I for one did not, but I followed the rules.

As you say people like MPs who put themselves forward for public office should make sure they are above suspicion or open to ridicule. I am often amazed that so many make traps for themselves. But it must come down to two things when they do not follow these two simple rules. Either they are fools or arrogant individuals. I think Boris fits into both categories.

There is a limit to any sensible comments on the Lloyd's penny share price.
The only comments we don't get is that the price could go sideways !.
