I agree if a put on any real extra weight I can feel the difference and the uncomfortableness of it.
Lets call it what it is FAT, through being greedy and lazy not being able to cook a proper meal, which most of a certain age can't do. Only last week my wife and I went out for an evening meal and I commented on how people in their say 30s seemed to order Burgers of some description, all about 6 inchs high full of crap meat, cheese and other items of rubbish with a lettuce leaf tucked in for the healthy option! . There was a party of 6 (3 couples ) all eating the same crap meal.

We once had four hospitals in our area 3 large ones and a smaller one that when built was an isolation hospital, which would have come in handy now! .
They were closed and the land sold for housing.
They built a new hospital in the late 1990s, but now need to expand it, to to the lack of beds etc.
When the hospitals were closed they also closed a number of schools and like wise the land was sold off, their reasoning was that the population was stable and the birth rate stable or falling. 1997 a certain Tony Blair gets the keys to No 10 and asks the whole world to come here. Our nice newish hospital had a new multi story car park, which had to go to provide land for the extension . The new hospital is bounded on all sides by housing and major roads, so no room to expand in any direction. If you could not make a profit, there would be an argument for renting , no maintenance costs, more mobility etc.

I agree, I catch the programme when looking though the foreign news programmes on the internet/youtube.
I also find Sky News Australia is fairly good, totally different to the swamp creeping Sky we have here.

We have the Crown Estates wanting to put solar farms on prime agricultural land and others also wanting to develop farming land into a solar farms . With have companies using farm land to house stand by generators, which are filled with acres of diesel powered generators used to top up the national grid(which I have shares in one such company).
We have people wanting to build over green belt and farm land.
Every acre of land not used for food production will increase food imports.
I must assume those in the know, know the true size of the UK , it must be larger that shown on our maps!.after all they tell us we are going to lose large swathes of our land to the rising seas , so lets see what we have instore.
