The house packing/storage system has now been created in readiness for our pending journey in September and I have decided to do it in 'Havieron' style. You've heard of Habitat..well that's 'old hat'. The 'in' thing is now 'Havieron'.
All items are in the process of being sticky-labelled blue (low grade'), yellow (medium grade') and green high (couldn't find gold labels)  grade.

The low grade material (but hey wait a minute don't throw that way!' ) stuff is at the back of the garage. Things like an old box of paintbrushes that I might need one day and have kept since 1983 but you never know when you might need to paint something the size of a small castle.

In front of this are boxes of the medium grade material. This is stuff that definitely 'might be' needed sooner than the low grade. It includes, for example, a box of a dozen extension leads and a smaller box (much) of football trophies for show.

Now this is the clever bit: Around the sides on racking and front and still being filled in a kind of horseshoe shape (see...getting it now?) are the high grade materials including winter clothes, electronic equipment and a UK flag (alright, alright calm down).

I fought shy of going completely 'Havieron' , which would have necessitated digging a pit under the garage and repeating the above arrangement, so one layer will just have to suffice.

Oh to be prepared eh!

Too right Turbo and the restrictive elastic band holding us back, currently tighter than a 1972 Diane Abbott trouser suit, will have well and truly snapped, sending our sp into orbit! (Well 16p anyway) :)

It could be that the MRE would be delayed to later in the year to ensure that this is announced for Havieron. The results from the extra drill holes in the South West might be sufficient to 'get it over the net' on the first serve.

Paddy, Do you know whether the deeper 'reef' deposits at Telfer were found as a result of improved drilling techniques or standard practice once the 'easier' deposits have been mined out or simply from a more desperate need to keep the mine operating?

Ah yes Ruprah..the MRE. I dream of the MRE. I imagine waking up one morning at 7.30 am to a little rns (1) notification and 258 posts, each reading little more than 'OMG!!'

The Rns would start 'We are absobloodylutely flabbergasted to announce...' and that would be enough. You wouldn't need to read any more.

I don't know enough about the pros and cons of a dual listing but wonder if GGP loses out to 'some' extent on the investment of smaller deposits from Oz. Yes, it is definitely possible to make these but if it is anything like the reverse it would be rel atively expensive.

I see so many trades of under £500 here. Who would bother if the cost to an Aussie was £25 or so?

We get constant requests to board members here asking how easy/possible it is to purchase shares in Australian indexed mining companies, particularly those bordering our own tenements (e.g Antipa). However, I wonder if any of our own Oz based investors could tell us how easy it is for them to invest in GGP?

The reason I ask this is because I have read a number of reports suggesting that GGP is 'under the radar' for the average Aussie investor. Could it simply be that is is 'easier' to invest in a local company involved in gold exploration and/or mining, using Australian dollars, without the fuss of exchange rates and mismatched trading hours?

Precisely! There will be a drinks bill to foot and it didn't escape my attention Tig that you were £30 out of pocket last time. I could be wrong but I guess it would be pretty bad form to sell his shares the moment good news is released. Selling while the sp is having a 'quiet time' seems quite gentlemanly to me and yes...possibly heralds a juicy RNS within the next few days.
