It seems to me that R42 take on new cohorts to work on projects, with the link he posted yesterday talking about the launch of this years cohort.

Posting this for info - it’s the full talk he did when launching the cohort last year. I’ve not been through it in full yet, because it’s over 5hrs, but I suspect it’s a great resource to understand how R42 works.

FWIW, I don’t think CPAI is looking to maximise profit from revenue in businesses it invests in.. I think it’s looking to invest in ideas with potential to drive valuable IP, and then to sell that IP. Similar to what Ronjon has said about his first project (at least as far as I recall), where he raised $500 and then sold for $12.5m 18 months later.

Perhaps, but as I say, the basis for that conjecture is thin.

Whilst news confirming delivery onto Platform One will be welcome, because it opens access to all DoD and other departments, in some ways I’m more interested in is news on a commercial strategic partner. If that partner does turn out to be top tier, as indicated, then it must surely reflect on how the mkt sees Narf, SC, and other SSaS expected to be productised out of DARPA R&D work on its SSCS platform.

Morning Jacob - don’t know that there much I can say!

We’ve said “ In coordination with a key early government user, Narf is scheduled to complete the final phase of development in June 2025, culminating in delivery of a solution ready for release and broader deployment across both government and commercial markets”.

That key user must be the USAF/Platform One, given it was the first SC contract announced 27/8/24. I’ve tried to find the actual contract to see what exact date in June it was scheduled to complete, but to no avail. For other reasons I think it might be 13/6, but they’re tenuous so don’t want post why.

We’ve had nothing to say we’re not on track. There are still 3 weeks in June. I’ve wondered if getting the “Big Beautiful Bill” though Congress might hamper things but can’t see why given current year budgets run until Sept.

The risks are still out there, and growing. The software mkt is expanding and needs protecting. We’re still superbly positioned to assist. Im still very comfortable here and added a little more yesterday afternoon.

So, I can’t offer anything to say we’re def on track. Equally, there is zero to suggest we’re not.

So, it does sound like the US move was driven by the needs of US customers, and we’re already looking at increasing manufacturing capacity to meet those needs.

Do you think this means that within the Alliance Agreement there is a list of specific, named projects for CPAI to DD and choose from and, if so, might you imagine that there are 8, corresponding to the areas in the recent polls?

Likewise. The sole MM offering stock at 0.48 just bumped it to 0.49, despite very low volume (at least publicly) Suggests buying in the background. Asking a higher price to sell us stock is a good sign I think.

Current order book is interesting. Most MM’s bidding to buy at 0.45, but only one offering to sell at 0.48, with the rest at 0.54 or higher. That’s quite a difference in the quoted offers.

Me too. As far as I’m aware, the notification trigger is when shares are issued/allotted (ie when voting rates increase), and not when they’re admitted to trading.

So, T = issue date. We were told that was to be 4/6

T+2 = latest Edwards had to notify the company

T+3 = when the business must notify the mkt.

So, theoretically this could take it till Monday. But let’s face it, I’d be surprised if it took 2 days for Edwards to notify the company in the circumstances.

As it is, I’m now expecting the Monday.

A bit weird for RE to say “when I get my stock loan shares back”. According to the timetable in the 2 May RNS, he should have got those back yesterday.

I believe a TR1 is required to be given by a shareholder following an increase/decrease in their voting rights, not when shares are admitted to trading, with the company notifying the mkt of the TR1 as soon as possible but by close of the next business day at the latest,

So I think we should get a TR1 announcement today, possibly tomorrow, of Edwards getting his 400m shares back.

To try and pre-empt discussion on here, I am not expecting the TR1 to show his % holding increasing back up to the level before he lent his stock. This is because 400m new shares would have been issued, so he will hold the same stock in a larger stock base.

It’s the level of reaction from the scientific community to these posts (remembering SuperB is just a start up), along with the comments themselves, which perhaps indicates its use and value.

Remembering of course that we don’t know for sure if the company is in the plans for us at all.

Im saying that, in my opinion, the whole process from conceptualisation through design, development and trialling could be accelerated enormously, massively reducing cost burden and time.. But that’s just my view.

It would. The agent was my pick of the poll options. Anyone who has ever invested in life sciences or biotechnology must know how large R&D spend is and how trial timelines can delay advancements etc. If a true AI scientist can be created then its value and reach would be huge. At least in my view…!
