I noted that ABDX also put out a blog on clinical trials today. Maybe nothing more than an info piece, but in the past these blogs have been linked to work they’re doing and are often followed by an RNS soon after. Loop?

We’re on the same page HD2U. Think we’re likely to see Loop in a series A funding round in Q4 as well. If I’m right then how well they get that away will be telling.

LoopDX are signposting various things in Q4 as well HD2U, notably publication of clinical trial results for Septiloop. That could be a humdinger if the results are as hoped for, with UKCA mark and first UK sales set for Q1 next year.

Likewise, we may well hear something from Upfront and their LVOne stroke trials in Newcastle this quarter.

Sepsis and Stroke cost healthcare billions each year, so these two products have exciting potential I think.

Like others have said, its staying ahead of the game that's important here.

I just think the world is moving to decentralised healthcare, and LFT is destined to be a big part of that. That will be especially so if the market can deal with the three main issues as I see them; accuracy, user experience, and plastic.

Seems to me that we are ahead of the game on all through with our various partners.

My kids in years to come wont be going to the doctors (as much) - they will be getting health advice online or through telemedicine, supported by green, accurate and easy to use diagnostics funded, at least in part, by govt. And they will be in far more control of their own health, no doubt all through apps.

Just to note that this para, which had been standard in RNS until recently, has again been omitted in this RNS.

No expert on these kind of things, but it does seem to me that the whole RNS today is all about arriving at a situation which allows parties to buy more shares. Positive as far as I can see.

I think it’s always worth remembering that healthcare systems are overburdened and that there’s lots of interest in tech, diagnostics and treatments that can let people take more control of their own health and relieve that burden. That is the direction of travel.

As an example, Amazon have launched Amazon Clinic - must be something in it if they’re ploughing cash into this new service, and to help make it work I’m sure they’ll be looking for highly accurate rapid tests. Senzo could certainly help there.

Yep, we distribute the Wondfo test.

Forgive me thought (because I may be wrong) but I think what you are trying to allude to is that if a nasty Covid strain were to re-appear then ABDX could benefit. I don't think that will be the case, at least not materially. The Wondfo test is just one of hundreds now available. Our distribution margins on it will be low, and indeed we don't appear to have had any significant revenue from it even though we were distributing it during the height of the pandemic. Added to that is the simple fact that the population now has a far better degree of immunity and so I suspect demand would be an awful lot lower.

ABDX has been clear that none of its CDMO work is Covid related, and who wants to see a new nasty strain of Covid anyway.

Just to add on this, the R&D scientist vacancy(ies) are also being listed by our normal recruitment agency, Cubed Resources.

Additionally, they are advertising for a Product Sales Manager for a leading industry "Healthcare" company in North Yorkshire, which they say is a new role owing to promotion.

Whilst the ad isn't quite so clear cut to say its us, my bet is that it is especially given that Liam Currivan (likely to have been the chap behind both Superdrug and Tesco deals) was promoted last month from Distribution Channel Sales Manager to Head of Sales and Marketing.

Thanks, but is that not the global average price rather than the price for Zim diamonds?

Apologies because I am sure you will have answered this before ASI but given the stats you post, would I be right in thinking that realistically we are looking at 129,400 carats at $75 per carat less 10% gov royalty and all associated sale costs and then exchange to GBP? If so, then it looks like something in the order of £6,500,000 - £6,700,000 net proceeds?

Of course, this assumes an average of $75 per carat within the parcel (could be more, could be less) and I have no idea about what the sale costs might be (including auction fees).

@smkr - beyond distributing the Wondfo test, ABDX has zero interest in covid.
