Smith - in case you have forgotten or misplaced my previous, ooops OBs previous questions:

Maybe....... tell us:
1) to whom Tlou will sell the electricity from the solar PV plant;
2) how one makes "green" hydrogen from solar and / or methane?; and
3) how one raise finance without a commercially acceptable PPA from a counter-party with a credit rating that is good for the next 20 years.

Take the weekend if you need to. If other posters are feeling as I do, they will be looking forward to your considered opinion on something actually pretty relevant to Tlou for a pleasant change. Talk it over with poppy if you feel the need.

App - was I trashing the stock or trashing the posters that were trying to over-hype the stock? Quite a difference if you think it through. Something not so many here seem to have as a natural ability ....

If, and it is a big IF, my investment here is a failed investment, maybe again try to think through how many are in the same boat. As well as who bought when, and for how much, and who has had to $ cost average along the way a lot (and a little), ....

And, while you will not take my word on this, trust me when I say I am very relaxed about my position here, and it’s potential.

If only you guys would realise fighting with someone who called it over-hyped 4 years ago makes no sense. The price graph doesn’t lie; the multiple fund raises don’t lie; the share price today/ this week/month don’t lie. We buy for future performance - not past dismal failures. Is it because so many here see their position as akin to an investment ‘dismal failure’ that rather than face up to your own P&L realities you would rather try shooting the messenger who basically ‘told y’all so’.

Let it go man, you will find you are so much more positive energy for better things in your life.....

Well I suppose it is good to talk about alternate energy and even the price of fish - while we wait, wonder and hope that the company makes progress on things that are relevant to its reasonably immediate strategy and (hopefully in the next 2-3 years) commercial success.
Share price below 3p - nobody was expecting that I fancy. Not even me.

If you filter someone, eemmm it means you don’t wNr to read what they have to say. Except here, you filter someone then every so often check out who has been saying what, then rant about their posts, and then say you have filtered them again.

What really surprises me here is how Ministry and BPC are still managing to progress electrification across the country whilst still waiting on Tlou and Tony and Brad and all others associated. Don’t they know they need us !!

JAMATAKA VILLAGE GETS ELECTRICITY

Today the 11th of May 2021, is the day the Jamataka community will never forget as the Minister of Mineral Resources Green Technology and Energy Security Hon Lefoko Moagi together with Member of Parliament for Shashe West and also Minister of Basic Education Hon Fidelis Molao officially handed over the recently completed electrification project in Jamataka Village. Minister Moagi indicated that electrification of Jamataka is part of Government's agenda to ensure that Botswana is fully electrified and that citizens gain access to electricity. The electrification of Jamataka has been implemented through the Government's Rural Electrification Programme which is implemented through Botswana Power Corporation (BPC). The provision of electricity to the rural areas is accepted as one of the prime engines for economic growth for rural communities, improved health and education facilities as well as improved standards of living. He said out of a total of 492 villages in Botswana, 446 have been electrified and Jamataka is one of the 116 being electrified which brings the total to 447 of electrified villages throughout the country. He also said electricity nowadays is needed for many things such as for poultry as people sell chickens to improve their standard of living. The Minister further encouraged residents to report any vandalism to BPC or the police. On his part MP Molao emphasised that it's a great joy for Jamataka to receive electricity as the Shashe West area has 13 villages and Jamataka was the only village not electrified. He said electricity is no longer a luxurious thing but a necessity of life as it improves the standard of living. He highlighted that electricity boosts a lot of things such as health, small businesses, etc. He encouraged residents to connect the electriciry in their homes.

You really are a big baby, thinking you have an audience here to play up in front of.
Orapa 90MW tender when (and if) it gets awarded is going to need security of gas supply. And I would be pretty confident they will want to award that to more than 1 supplier. And at the moment, there are Zero gas suppliers in Botswana who can fulfill that need.
Tlou drilled 2 horizontal wells and have never come clean on quantity of gas flow. Fair enough, I understand that - but hidden in amongst all the announcements chit chat was them saying more wells were going to be needed to get to 10MW (never mind 90mw). And let us not forget how long the current dewatering process is taking .....
So - if Orapa comes good - they will need to drill 10 or so horizontal wells, build a pipeline, be awarded the gas supply contract, get funding for all of this, and then .... go and do it all.
Just how long do you brain boxes think this will all take to come to pass??
But hey, you know what ..... , you guys ar win the majority here in terms of punters wanting to sell the story. Carry on ..... Knock yourselves out .... We are all shareholders here and we want the price to go up for sure!!

OldB - I am not surprised with what you say. No shortage of potential suppliers I suspect.

I don’t believe anyone has been suggesting malice (or malpractice etc) on the part of any director. Rather it is all taking a lot longer than anyone reasonably predicted (even me) from when this started.
Like I have said frequently in recent times - best to look forward now and see what cards are dealt ie PPA and then funding. A good outcome for Orapa will be nice, but best not expect a slam dunk on this for the time being.
The share price will let us know on all of these as and when ....

For what it is worth, there are probably 6 (or more) S African companies eying up importing gas to Orapa. And goodness knows how many Perth Pirates thinking about some **** and bull story.... When will you guys get a grip and waken up.

And who do you think would be a natural buyer if a basket of different commodities projects in multiple jurisdictions .... Have you seen any other M&A activity like this elsewhere that provides a template...

MFM - I take exception to your comment that my posts are forever negative. Tlou’s share price has not performed as shareholders had hoped over past 4 years (apart from occasional short spikes around good news). You don’t have to agree with this - but my posts were designed to provide some sort of balance on why this are not all rosy in the Botswana garden, given that the majority of posters on message boards are promoting their own long position in a stock.
As I have frequently said, I do not believe message board posters have the ability to dramatically move stock prices (GameStop being an obvious recent exception), but I do believe that underlying progress and truth will drive stock prices. And I again repeat I started posting my view that matters within Botswana were turning positive a few months back such that my view on Tlou was now generally positive.
Smith post, when relevant, simply defend TG and why things are so slow. MM posts only ever promote the opportunity with nudge nudge innuendo that Tlou will be the beneficiary/ winners in basically everything.
I don’t intend to keep defending my approach to posting or views contained in my post. Either you and others are clever enough to see them for what they are, or you are not.
In any event, we should surely have news on the PPA within the next month, so hopefully the conversation pivots to forward looking possibilities. We have all had enough of justification posts as to why progress has been pretty abysmal here.
