More rubbish.

Tlou have been connecting to the grid since 2017 - 4 years later finally they may soon start the construction work that allows them to finally connect. And in 4 years of strategy and effort since 2017, they still want to connect a piddly amount of power - sometime in 2022 all being well.
Sure, they can grow the amount from there - how long will that take?! Another year?
My beef isn’t that they are taking so long - for goodness sake I have been the one saying things would take way longer than posters here (and management) said it would take.
I have been consistent about unachievable timelines due to problems of getting things done in Botswana.
As to problems of getting the transmission line built within the year - the simplest answer is Tlou will need further funding in order to complete construction of the 66kV line. Plus they are just appointing contractors now; plus a 100km is a decent length; plus it’s Africa and things just take longer there; plus can you give me one compelling reason why the work will get done super quick......

End of the day, that is only my opinion on length of time the work will take. Plus I already told you that before.

Why don’t you geniuses tell me why, after so much incredible success in the past 3 years, the share price still sucks.

One poster dares to push back on the inane drivel put up here. And the best you can do is stoop to personal attacks - really guys, try harder please.

Wise up App. Too many posters are on boards for no purpose other than to ramp stock suiting their short-term or day trading needs. Equity shareholders would no doubt like short term gains but the reality is they are the providers of long term capital.

My posts consistently urged caution over the years; they didn’t say do not invest in Tlou. And recently I came forward and changed my view that imo macro conditions in Botswana had changed for the better and therefore I was finally more bullish about chances of investment success here.

If anything, posters like Smith are problematic. He has high-jacked the board to help navigate his lockdown boredom. Go ask posters like Bythesea whether he now wishes he had / had not been swayed by opinions shared here by Smith, MM and others churning nothing other than endless positivity about Tlou.

Exactly right - let’s get on with things ! And keep things real and in perspective whilst we do. Only gullible clowns will believe this particular Rome will be built in a year. How come this board attracted more than its fair share.

Epiphany - that moment when one realises all of one’s past thinking has been misguided.
Disingenuous - the content of many of Tlou’s announcements over the years.
Reality - ability to see clearly through the noise.
Foresight - ability to use one’s intelligence and come up with sensible and realistic scenarios ahead.
Madness - continually repeating the mistakes of the past.
Infatuation - intense passion or admiration for something or someone.

Time will tell. These dont need to be debated on slow days just because Smith needs to kill time. The last 3 years have been excruciatingly slow - that is fact which doesn’t need further debate. Botswana’s Energy Resource plan indicates 10MW of CBM by 2025 - that is published by Ministry of Minerals, Green Technology and Energy Security. They are not setting ambitious targets for CBM; echoed by Minister in Parliament last week - CBM Resources needs further definition and proving up. So UNLESS private sector companies like Tlou and Sekaname have the money to go it alone (ie establish the CBM market themselves), CBM will develop at Govt and Ministry pace.
And that pace will be what that pace will be. My view is that pace will not be as quick as Smith or MM would try to kid everyone into believing.
BUT things are starting to move quicker now than before. Isn’t it better therefore to Under-promise and Over-deliver rather than constantly Over-promising and Under-delivering .....

You carry on believing Tony is in control here; that he really is the king of CBM in Botswana; that delays in raising funding is because Tony doesn’t want to pay unnecessary coupon; or in order to minimise cost of capital. What other total gosh have you dredged up and repeated ad nauseum here ..... Oh yes, that Tlou will get the full 100MW in time; that a 66kV line will connect Tlou to the grid and unlock untold riches; that 600m shares in issue isn’t a big deal and that 1.0 billion plus is equally no big deal.
Best of all, you keep believing every milestone Tlou announce will be achieved with heaps of time to spare when the reality of the past 4 years is anything but. But hey, you carry on believing mate. Coz you know best, you know everything about Tlou and what you don’t know, you read about it online and thereafter it becomes gospel and fact.
You carry right on my olde China. Time will tell - and time is the one thing Africa has lots of.
Did you ever wonder why that is per chance? If you understood both the question and the answer, well then maybe you would have that much-needed epiphany.

You absolute clowns think a 100km transmission line across rough terrain and soft sands well out in the bush is going to be constructed and operational within a year. When the contractors have just been appointed.

Great - so you disagree with what I have to say and that makes me unhinged. Oh you guys really are something to behold at times.

MFM - your question highlights my beef with Tlou. I am 100% sold on the opportunity here; I always have been (some will be surprised by that no doubt).
My beef is the way TG and team have sold the opportunity to shareholders. They have tried to frontrun every single aspect of the opportunity, to the extent of (near enough) misleading shareholders in how they present and articulate their progress.
If you are first to flare gas (which they weren’t), or first reserves, or environmental approvals, or first mining licence - then why do they as first movers advantage only want to connect to the grid....
All the achievements which are loudly broadcast and yet the primary ambition is to connect to the grid and to move slowly forward.
CBM is not new; it is not new technology; nothing about it is new - yet Tlou just want to connect to the grid (masked with mgmt speak on risk and cost of capital nonsense) ....
There is the total contradiction I have with Tlou.

OB, 2017 was 220m shares in issue; now is 600m; more are necessary. MM is going to have to work hard before he gets to part 2 of his strategy. Clever work by TG to maintain his philosophy of ‘grid connection’ is more important than revenue.

Listen you silly old ass, solar is renewable and we all know that gas and solar are going hand in hand as the new Energy mix in Botswana. We all got this yonks ago....
