I been saying since 2017 this wasn’t going to happen in the timelines and timeframes yawl bleated about endlessly at various times over the years. From mid 2017 to now - 4 years and ….. finally…. a PPA with a funding package that allows things to get going At Long Last.

Great news for CBM in Botswana. Now …. our chief cheer leader is saying share price re-rate ahead. Hope he is right.

One thing I know for sure - there is going to be an amazing amount of interviews and news paper articles and tweets and PR ahead.

I wonder how many of the Twitter group will reappear here posting their ‘enthusiasm’ ….

Kind of contradictory article - but good CBM keeps getting referred to.

And the Chinese apparently are busy completing a long CBM pipeline in northern China. Good that someone is active with developing major CBM resources somewhere. Will the Chinese be the ones to develop Tlou and Sekaname projects I wonder.

More time being wasted by Parliament and Ministries. And set to continue being discussed this week. All part of the attention seeking behaviour of SIK who remains in S Africa trying his best to get attention for himself. A bit like somebody else; their ability to speak, type, make noise is endless. SynMet management have been talking to that acclaimed money management guru BS who has persuaded them to delay their IPO because once they bring into funds, shareholders will start to demand to see a shareholder return. So probably better Synmet issue PR to the world about what great technology they have rather than get stuck in and commercialise it.

Right, let’s try to get to talking, understanding and appreciating what is going on in Botswana. Much as I love TOTP and Queen and Bournemouth FC and all the other endless, never ending endless, ballix posted by the resident ‘Tlou and CBM expert’ here, every now and then we do need to focus on what’s happening in Botswana, what’s stopping things from advancing in the way our logical western world minds think these things through, what actually are the real levers and drivers as to progress in the underlying Botswana economy since those things will ALL add up to what provides the impetus to CBM in Botswana finally getting up and running.

So - now that SIK has seruptitiously skipped the country (with the help of his SA mates) a week plus ago, has allowed the above ‘teaser’ to be aired on social media, with his great ‘reveal’ coming on Tuesday …. What that (to me) means is the entire functioning of Govt and Ministries and civil service has now unofficially stopped for the rest of 2021 - until they see what the fallout, drama, BS, noise, nuisance, etc is after his big Tuesday reveal ends up being.

Tlou WILL NOT be announcing funding in 2021 is my view /opinion. And whilst I 100 per cent hope I am idioticly wrong - well there is always a first time!

Come back here in February 2022…. when noise levels start to pick up again, and hopefully we can see real progress come April.

Botswana, with the greatest respect to an amazingly beautiful country in places, is a total toilet in terms of getting things done, progressing, moving forward, making money for the private sector.

That is what happens when one is locked in an ‘only have eyes for you’ relationship. You are the only investor I have ever has the misfortune to engage with that thinks timelines don’t matter; that funding should be delayed rather than secured; that see 600m shares in issue now (eventually 1 billion) as a good thing (for an exploration and early stage development company FFS - jeez he has several screws loose); that idolises a management team that are fast and loose with the truth or reality; that make naive claims that funding has been secured several times and still we wait; …. God I am becoming like you now repeating what everybody else knows and acknowledges except the one oak that spins everything into an alternate reality and thinking he knows everything there is to know about a poxy little penny share stock that has promised lots since listing and delivering not yet of substantive substance. Yes, lots of great plans, ambitions and projects - but still given the amount of hyperbole and talk and BS, they have delivered next to FA of real business substance. In over 10 years….

And a different perspective on the Tlou / Sekaname dynamic is that some think Sekaname are content to let Tlou rattle around in the play pen making as much noise as they can, spend as much money as they are able to raise, list on as many stock exchanges as they can, market and trumpet the CBM and Botswana opportunity wherever they can, all the while with Sekaname knowing full well how slowly and inefficiently Botswana and its Ministries and civil servants work so Sekaname take an all together calmer, quieter, less costly existence until the powers that be take the handbrake of CBM.

For CBM to have been included in the recent IRP 2020 was a good signal in this regard. But since that is almost a year old, obviously it wasn’t the event that released the handbrake. Just as Tlou’s PPA is the event to release their handbrake, or CBM handbrake.
So I guess the question is - what will that event be and will you suckers be smart enough to spot it.
My money is on Morris being smart enough because of his obvious connections; as for the rest of you, well if all there is to read on this message board is the BS from the king of KS, then best of luck lads….

Smith you always have a reason for every delay. But suggesting the funding delay is linked to the new Covid variant is pure horse poop. Refer to what both GG and CC said 2-4 weeks back. The business world goes on; people work from home; people find a way - except Tlou management team. Either they cannot close a deal involving debt finance or, much worse, the debt providers do not like what they see when they look under the Tlou bonnet.
As of Tlou’s projects read and are presented really well to the market. But the market is not yet financing them - so the obvious question is Why not; Why the delay;
These are questions you have your own answer to - the few people looking in here now don’t need to keep reading your same old, same old. The Chairman had an opportunity to make comment on what many here consider is the most pressing matter for Tlou in terms of it being able to move ahead. He didn’t make any reference - Why?

And where is Tlou going to get 3m bucks to invest in Synmet IPO? Debt finance is typically project and cash flows based around cash flows. Not to invest in new ventures to help partially pay development costs of a prototype which may or may not work.

Anyways I am done talking here. There is nothing else to say here until funding news drops. And maybe when Sekaname announce their PPA - haha man would I wet my pants if that were to happen.
