So much BS on here.
Syme can of course be shorted, some have done very well doing exactly that.
Hi Lucky Bob,
"So AZs shares to some degree in custodian accounts."
Indeed they are and can be seen as such, under nominee accounts, on the share register.
In this particular case, it looks like a number of BNP Paribas nominee accounts complete with their own LTD company, which is standard practice.
The share register is easily requested from the company secretary foc, if you are a share holder.
Anyway, nothing to see here apart from a potential admin error by a particular nominee, as all are managed separately.
Hi Bob,
Just a small couple of corrections, AFAIK.
Italian tranche of clients to be funded by the captive bank, the main funder wanted a more diverse portfolio, preferably UK and ME.
Storm Harbour should be considered to still be a separate open funding effort.
Cheers,
Mark.
Late printed trade of 14m shares, make of that what you will.
Valtree,
Looking at the quality of the English in your post, you don't look qualified to run a bath.
Let alone comment on anything else.
Obviously there has been a fair amount of bitterness, here, daily for the last few months from one individual, so I have largely kept away.
Anyway, posting history is often a useful tool to try and ascertain why a particular individual is so angry.
The issue is now resolved.
Imagine if you had 1.3m ARB shares the latter part of last year, that you had paid c. 5p for.
Constantly moaning about the BOD and results etc.
You then sold in December for c. 10p.
Oooooft!
Ill leave you to guess who I'm discussing and suggest everyone goes easier with him in the future.
Porky,
For a self confessed non holder you seem to spend an awfully lot of time here.
As for the rest of your post it contains so much BS it's unreal.
Good luck with your investment elsewhere.
"The good thing about commodities is that they are standardised, which makes them easy to sell."
I always thought they were a good fit for commodities for this very reason.
That's why the Middle East/Shari'a business has the potential to be so huge.
Laverda,
Totally agree with your statement.
The upside, if Kodal pull it off, could be very good.
I'm not denying that.
However, have been here for a while and felt, on this occasion, leaving with a decent profit was too good to ignore.
I believe this is the last batch currently outstanding.
However, you should read the last gold update proposal as well.
I must admit I did sell my holding close to the top this morning, as I felt this news would be incoming.
I have been in and out of Kodal for a while and it seems to follow a pattern.
Morning Guys,
Personally I wouldn't like to say.
The interesting thing for me, however, is the fact that when the E mail was initially "sent" it had AZs address as part of the predefined signature.
When the "reply", from the same person, was sent the AZ address was missing.
Obviously, you set these user footer settings separately against created mails and replies in Outlook.
What does that tell us?
If the mail trail is fake, they have a hell of an eye for detail!
"Partnership news could come at any time a prospective bidder is satisfied with the process in motion. The value of the partnership deal is likely to increase as more work is done on the compound."
Totally agree with this and we do know there have been interested parties already.
It's not as though the Physiomics study completing in November, for all the compounds, is a binary.
This will be an ongoing collaboration until then and we have no idea of how that work will be structured.
We do know, however, that Suzy considers it "adding value" which is certainly good enough for me.
"Game of poker that i feel Suzy and the board are playing very well and giving us all the information we need to hear through this PYC RNS without breaking any rules. That's my take on it, so more than happy to wait and build until then."
Teamhanz,
This aligns with my thinking also.
You would have to ask why PYC is prepared to put their resources into this, if they didn't consider they will earn in the future from their work?
It's a huge commitment from them, so they must have evaluated the risk/reward especially as they have worked with VAL for quite a while.
As far as potential partners are concerned, my view is a good deal is dependent on more data, based on the latest results, hence why VAL and PYC are working together to provide it.
As you said, this could actually potentially arrive at any time, depending on what data the potential partner actually needs to initially commit.
"Ordinarily a standard list company might have a bit of leeway due to no Nomad, but the FCA are clearly looking closely at SYME, so the chances of them sitting on significant news are zero IMO."
Absolute rubbish.
Sign offs are usually part of a wider project plan.
If there's no signature to finalise, then there isn't any news to release.
"The RNS says it will be for health care settings and maybe the workplace.
5 minutes would work for a night club or theatre queue but not 20 minutes"
Correct, as things stand right now it does.
However, in conjunction with an app the exact time ceases to be an issue in my eyes at least.
The first response is at 10 minutes in any case, the 20 minutes is for a clearer response.
I would expect this timing could be fine tuned, going fwd, not that it really matters if used in conjunction with an app prior to setting off to a concert or whatever.
"I can't believe no one here is ****ed off about the Huff Post fake news about the Avacta 5 minute test being used for sports events, clubs and concerts.
People must have very selective memories as this article, whose author should be investigated for market manipulation was all that was being talked about at the weekend and now it is like it never happened."
Why couldn't it be, along with an app to record the test?
They didn't state exactly how it would be done in any case.
How else do you envisage it working?
Or some other method entirely?
Hi All,
Anyone checked the late trades?
I checked at 6, however they have all popped up since then.
Plenty there, lol.
"Suppose still unknown can vaccinated people still be infectious and pass on the virus - ?"
I can answer that pretty much first hand.
A friend of the family works on the front line. She had the vaccine, still got coronavirus and passed it on to her husband.
Unsure if he had been vaccinated, luckily both didn't end up seriously ill from it.
Ex,
"This was the context : .."I know, for a fact, that they are already talking to very connected people concerning one of the biggest Islamic countries in the world..."
"It's good to talk.""
Agreed, it's good to talk.
However, I also agree a lot of talk does, indeed, go nowhere, that's business for you.
I am prepared to impart that the talks went very well and did move on, far further, from just the "we are interested" stage.
The thing is, such a service is particularly needed in this particular country and these well connected people are already fully engaged in the supply chain space.
Whether it goes any further remains to be seen.
"SH helps to prove the concept. Given they have been working on that for almost a year they need to get it done. If they can't it really indicates the concept is broken."
Correct Chalker.
I totally agree.
