I appreciate that you’re passing on communication with the company in good faith. However, you should know by now that whatever information you receive, you’re in no position to testify to the accuracy of what they say. AIM is a complete **** house sometimes and just because we ‘believe’ a company is fantastic, it doesn’t always make it so.

Exactly. I always thought the EML board were quite scrupulous and to be fair, I largely still do. However, if there’s one thing that grates my nuts, is having the feeling that shareholders are the victims of ‘gaslighting’ by the BOD’s. Without one single doubt in my mind, Rupert was brought on board because of his dealings at the highest levels of Moroccan government. Since when would any company need someone like him on board if everything was tickety-boo? He’s certainly not here as window dressing.

Of course the date ‘should’ be released. It’s not market sensitive yet important to shareholders and probably in the public domain somewhere. Important milestones should be RNS’d. Unless EML think they’re on shaky ground permit wise, what god forsaken reason would they have to keep it to themselves?

It’s absolutely incredible, the amount of bilge that’s being tweeted, yet no apparent date set for the all important Environmental permit meeting. Setting a date and letting shareholders know isn’t difficult. Things don’t appear to be as plain sailing as GC would have us believe. Give us something other than what an employee had for lunch.

It does seem strange though that board members of Chariot (where I’m also invested) can meet with the minister of mines, yet we’re hiring an experienced Moroccan based diplomat, to ‘help’ with networking and increasing the company profile...WHY?

Without anything ‘tasty’ for investors to get excited about, the SP is going to languish in single digits. Going into finance agreements with an sp this low, could spell disaster for pi’s. I’ve seen it many times that with all the best intentions of an honourable BOD’s, pi’s are diluted out of significance. Let’s hope there is a rally after the go-ahead from the environmental panel. It seems we waited for an uplift in the s.p after previous permit milestones but never seem to materialise.

You’re asking for quantitative answers to qualitative questions. Needless to say, I’m always hopeful. I’m hopeful Lixus makes us rich...well, not as poor ;)
I’m hoping that Shell, Exxon, Total et al strike it big on off-shore Brazil and Namibia...and really hope that our last drill really did substantially de-risk the Moroccan licences as claimed.
However, being clear, honest, concise and dare I say, fair, with investors goes a long way in this game and yet again, our board are being found lacking.
As you know, when Larry left, I said I wouldn’t post any criticisms of the new board until after last new year, which gave them about 8 months to sort their **** out and I was true to my word. Now though, we still have no valued third party validation on Lixus which has meant no farm-in partner. I appreciate Adonis has a lot of skin in the game but one wonders whether, like with us, he’s ploughing on ahead based more on hope, than research. I personally would sacked the whole in-house team of geologists by now. Wouldn’t trust their evaluations even if oil was spurting out the ground.

Read my history if it pleases you mate. The desperation to label someone who speaks the truth as a non-holder, reeks of desperation. I haven’t even de-risked at any point since buying in here. If I sold now, I’d be about 20% down but I’m sure there are many in a worse position than that. So being in a loss position doesn’t irk my shackles either. What I find completely abhorrent, is the way Chariot are never fully open and honest and, that you have to pick through the RNS’s with a fine toothed comb, to see what is negative, or conspicuously absent.
So yes, I’ll take issue with anyone blathering about what a great position we’re in, when we’re clearly not.
Chariot is like the girl you once fell in love with, cheated on you numerous times but you’d still have her back because either you love her, or you’re a glutton for punishment. I haven’t quite decided which I am yet...it may be both!
