It’s because of the necessity to be accurate that the RNS can’t be more affirming. That’s the reason…well done!

Crikey Bluepalace, I’d have hoped we’d have received the permit by the end of March, not just getting an update…fingers crossed.

…why the sp is dropping. One is the obvious profit takers and those jumping ship after getting spiked or the gains weren’t as great as they were expecting. There are other more dynamic stocks to buy into after all. Their short sightedness may ultimately cost them. The second is the RNS was far from filled with certainty. The word ‘potential’ albeit necessary to cover all bases, was used where you expect them to be more affirmative. The most obvious were ‘potential viability as a future producer well’, ‘the potential completion as a production well in the future’ and ‘with both wells earmarked to become potential production wells’.
If Chariot can’t yet confirm viability and commercialisation yet, then investors are going to get cold feet. People may think it’s only semantics but once you’ve been in this game long enough, you do look between the lines, concentrate on what’s not said and also more importantly, take what they do say as black and white. Potential isn’t certainty so there is no certainty to becoming future producing wells, only potential.

Maybe if you could spell Froggy, people would take you more seriously.

Nope, still here, waiting patiently OOSM. This has been my No1 recommendation to family and friends for the past two Christmas’. They’ve certainly made money but I know some have lost interest and put their money elsewhere. I appreciate p.i’s are merely an unfortunate circumstance for most BoD’s but we should still have an update that’s more than, “yup, we’re still waiting for the permit”. Tell us why we’re still waiting. And no, it’s not because the King makes all the decisions. I’m also in Chariot Oil and Gas who are also based in Morocco and with licences in Rabat. They’ve organised a deep sea drill with the ministry of mines, drilled it, and plugged it for potential near future production, in the same time we’ve waited for this environmental permit. Someone is dragging their heels on this project and to say delays are down to Covid, new government, the King is busy, or indeed there really are magical fields for unicorns, really doesn’t wash.
Now I’ve said my piece, we’ll probably get the permit tomorrow…or probably not.

Every day really is a school day. I wonder what will be the reason if we haven’t got it by March…it’ll probably be found it’s grazing land for unicorns.

Having OCP on our doorstep gives me the jitters and will continue to, until the permit is approved. Rather than ‘buy us out’, it’s not inconceivable for the permit to be refused, EML’s share price tanks, goes bust and OCP take over operations for nothing.
I’ve seen it before with junior mining companies in less secure political countries with ropey legal systems.

@OOSM, sorry for not responding before now. Unfortunately I’ve just been released from hospital. After reading your complimentary comment, I started hyperventilating, tripped over my own feet and knocked myself out on the pub fire hearth. Your posts should carry a health warning (or should that be ‘wealth warning’).
Likewise, I mirror your thoughts. There are a lot of ‘ifs’ to be made firm during 2022. However, those ifs are only likely to increase sentiment and sp growth. Once the Environmental permit is in, even if there is a few disappointments along the way, I doubt it’ll effect negatively on the sp as none of the positives are priced in. Not at this dog **** share price anyway.
To sum up…went hell for leather today and upped my lot. That’s us doomed then!!! :D

2bn shares wouldn’t be a catastrophe but it would be disappointing for the rainbow chasers, of which I shamelessly count myself as one. I’m hoping for 35-40p, possibly 45p per share. At 2bn shares in issue, there’s a snowball’s chance in hell at getting that. I said previously in other posts that 25p would be okay long term and with 2bn shares, it’s possible. You never know, if there’s a rally prior to that, 40p may be on the cards. Who knows…?
