As frustrating as this all is, I’m happy to wait for the new app. New users get one go at an app and either love it (and stay hooked) or never use it again. These same users won’t be tempted back by a new version of an app if they didn’t like the old one. The current Napster app IMO is very limited and not on the same level as the others. So, yes we are putting all our eggs in the new app basket, but I do think this is a calculated judgment call based on the above. The pressure is on for the new app to be better than the others. If so, the marketing push should be easy, if done correctly. As for remuneration, this is agreed at board level, so there must be structures / performance-led targets in place to justify the same. It’s a lot of money - eye watering amounts - so if the new app is ****, we are all ****ed not just AM
