Gas price jumps again.

Expect a lot of press coverage of issues with British Gas in the next few months. Customer complaints coming thick and fast. The share price has a lot further to fall. Easy short now.

Tazed, the £13 climb and fall was a lot different. Shorts and traders manipulating both directions. This time it's based on other factors. If the shorts pull out, the downward pressure is gone. It moves to an investment share based on fundamentals instead of a traders share. Now we all need to hold tight and don't give the shorters an easy exist ❤️‍🔥🔥

DEC SP has gone from short attack, trading to momentum now. A few steady weeks and we could all be winners 😁

Nov is expected to be warmer than usual so Gas demand will be down.

A nice jump in the US price.

DEC holding up well considering the large drop in oil and gas prises today. Hopefully their excellent price hedge strategy will encourage more investment there way.

Asp1 what's your view on such a high amount of shorts for DEC? Do you think it's a bet against gas supply, a pack mentality knowing they can pull down the SP for no real reason or something else?

Fantastic news. Hedge prices a lot higher than spot pricing. Guaranteed income for many years.

I noticed that DEC had a visit from 2 senators yesterday. They were highly impressed with the DEC operation and the responsible way they manage and shut down wells. I wish these stories would be more visible to investors instead of the made up crap from the shorters.

I like the approach of applying for change of use for some of the buildings. The country needs more beds urgently and making use of empty buildings is a perfect solution.

Rrb, after the past year, DEC going down by a few pence/cents is not really anything to worry about.

The shorts have run out of steam. The share price low was found at 820 and it's now a question of when the shorts decide to bail. When they do, the share price will spring board way beyond its current level.

GG the SP drop was due to a leak of a letter from politicians insinuating a problem at DEC. Followed by a shorter publication spreading a load of false information. All answered by DEC in a structured and factual manner. Too late to stop the short term damage. However, as time passes without any negative evidence, it only supports DEC side of the story. So, the SP will recover and anyone brave enough will have bought some bargain shares. I see this as a fantastic opportunity. You see it as a fraud. We are both entitled to an opinion 😁

DEC reduced the dividend because the SP dropped. 10% is still a leader in the segment so no need to pay 30%. If the SP rises, so will the dividend. In the meantime DEC will use the saving to cover debt, share buybacks and/or acquiring more assets. All adding value, rather than giving it away.

As for all the other conspiracy theories, they are just that, a made up load of rubbish. With every day that passes, it's plainly clear that the business model is as good as the day it was started. If the SP was based on fundamentals it would be 3x what it is today. Sadly, the stock markets promote greed and profit based on untrue manipulation.
