We should see a bit of profit taking for those who took advantage of the very low SP in recent days. Then hopefully some cash injected back for those that pulled out on the way down. US opening should be good.

Long term, I think Trump will persuade the EU to buy more US energy and then we will see the SP climb further.

GG you forgot to mention the selling as well. Perfect trading share whilst we wait for the SP to climb. I'm very happy buying at these levels. If anyone thinks gas and oil will not be used because of the tariffs, they are in dream land. The biggest impact will be access to capital, which will slow down the supply via new drilling. Companies like DEC with mature long life wells, will be in a great place. We saw that during COVID. DEC hit the SP peak shortly after it. History has a habit of repeating itself.

US want to produce a hell of lot more. For that they will need a lot of power. I would expect DEC to do well in the next few years. US investors would probably agree so we should see them pulling up the SP.

DEC are like the commodity prices they sell, constantly changing. It's impossible to value them and predict what path they will take next. At least it's not a boring investment but one for the brave looking for a long term gain.
