Hi Dip, sorry to disagree with you but I don't recall the Lassonde Curve ever being brought up from the time I bought GGP shares end of 2017 to Feb 2021 unless I missed the posting on LSE. Looked back to 8 - 10 Dec 2020 postings (pages 3885 - 3821) when the share price started to drop from 37p it was suggested that the early dips were a result of 'normal' trading. In fact, from memory, when the Lassonde Curve was started to be mentioned in 2021 someone suggested GGP might leap across from wave one to wave two on speculation and excitement of the then forecoming Scallywag drilling results - no one warned of the possibility of wave one dropping to very low levels!

9:50 minutes in "look to invest 6 months before expected production" one of the sweet spots! The video was released 19 Feb 2017 why do we only get this tip and the Lassonde Curve chart posted on the GGP message board only after many PIs have huge real/ paper loses?? Learning lessons for the next time; perhaps - but will there be a next time on AIM as good as GGP?

In the meantime fingers crossed for great drilling results from our other tenements.

Hi Dip - that is exactly what I hope for too, But forgive me for having some reservations because a. this is AIM and b. I have suffered like others the (dis) stress of being in GGP and all the while the share price has fallen from 37p to 7/8p . I expect our true path to the future will be realised by 2024.

I needed to go out so could not wait for the issue of the RNS.

I am happy that all resolutions were passed and that GGP is more derisked than ever before and that the future looks very bright.

Got to say BUT:

There were 4,572,408,501 eligible votes for the EGM . Total voted 1,681,253,793 that is 36.77%

We all knew how important Res 1 & 2 were and big efforts were made to encourage retail investors to vote. BUT the 36.77% total leaves me to believe that the voting power of retail investor now well and truely marginalised - now up to Wyloo and the IIs to decide what represents 'any low ball t/o' . That said I hope that IIs will be looking for many multiples of the 8.2p share price before they decide to sell in concert.

I hope this is really the start of the upward trend (and not ‘buy the rumour, sell the news’) as we have had so many false dawns. GLA

Looking at today's news over at SOLG maybe that partly explains the reason why NCM did not take up the 5% (ie they might need the funds more immediately elsewhere?).

James, it has just occurred to me that if you do attend the EGM you will be able to report the results from the meeting because the Chairman will state at the meeting whether the resolutions have passed after the show of hands. ATB Mremc2

paras 54 to 63 : Show of hands and proxy votes are taken into account (but not sure how this happens in practice at GGP meetings) but as electronic votes are submitted in advance the Chairman must have a good idea of the proxy count before voting takes place in the room by a show of hands.

So the total of hands vote and the proxy vote will be notified in the RNS.

James, I have not explained this very clearly so not the best person to have answered your questions.

'Authority' letter from the ISA provider is a Corporation Letter of Representation appointing you as a Proxy, which you must take with you to the meeting as proof of your appointment as a Proxy. That also states the number of votes (shares).

You show your letter or share certificate at the door and are given a voting card.

Any shareholder can attend the meeting but only those given a voting card can vote at the meeting.

As each resolution is announced by the Chairman there may be an opportunity to speak before the vote is taken (but nobody spoke at the AGM during the voting except the Chairman). The Chairman will say whether the resolution is passed (or not) before moving onto the next one.

At the AGM I attended after the voting had taken place someone in the audiance explained that the show of voting cards by those attending the meeting counted in the first instance. Counting only goes to Chairman's proxy votes if voting on a resolution looks to be undecided. I don't know if that is correct, can anyone confirm?

It does not seem to be logical to exclude the Chairman's proxy votes because they are likely to include the votes we have given to the ISA providers to cast on our behalf. Otherwise an ISA Proxy would need to attend the meeting and get a voting card!!

So also unclarified is whether in turn the RNS issued about the results of the voting includes or excludes the Chairman's proxy votes.

Yes because you won't be given a voting card to hold up. I guess you will get a chance to speak/ question to the Chairman as each resolution is announced (or whoever is chairing the meeting).

James when I voted at the AGM I just turned up and a person at the door to the room checked my authority and handed me a voting card. Need authority from your ISA manager . Your Crest certificate for those shares. However, nobody noted the number of shares I owned so I don't know how that gets recorded?

Wish I could find a £1 coin down the back of the sofa to buy 12 GGP shares!
