Seemed to emphasis 'Looking at that right now' - is that a shot across GGP's bow?

We know that GGP is very special - 'H' has checked. I paraphrase:

"out of 15 odd 'comparable' stocks including Kefi Gold , Altyngold , Hoschild , Hummingbird, Resolute Mining, Endeavour, Ariana, Pure gold, Solg, Caracal ...... no shorts apart from Fres and Russian ones"

So if we do go up against that headwind we will be doing rather well. GLA

No not trading transferring shares between family accounts. I have been invested for a number of years and at 73 hoping to enjoy a dream payout before too long. Looking good at the opening and I will hang on for a few hours for what looks like a better price. Good luck to you too.

I'm hoping for a +13p bid price tomorrow so that I can close out those I bought at 12.95p today. With hindsight it would have been much better doing the exchange trades at under 10p but lost my wheeler-dealer casual bravado stunned into inaction by the falling share price. Of course as luck would have it I also missed out on the morning rise because I had to go out on an errand to a hospital miles away. GLA

Someone once said the Canadians are coming but may be they meant the US cavalry will be charging in!

We don't know NCM's decision on the 5% but we have a very good idea from the Town Hall meeting what what they are likely to do.

What's a quick way of creating a multi billion pound company - Shaun doing a reverse takeover of Newcrest - he has loan notes on his desk - now that would be a good reason to visit London and "not telling you for how long"! ):

Shaun has stated that there are too many shares so unlikely to be from shareholders in the short term.

I may have been a bit free with 'the market' expression but anyone who attended the first Town Hall meeting in March 2022 will have been aware that NCM were thinking about a 'shocking' low ball offer for the 5% ie $25m or less - so if we PIs knew it so did the IIs ie 'the market ' (see my posting history page 5, 21 Mar 2022 17:13 ; 23 Mar 16:28 and 28 Apr 20:39 etc).

I was skeptical that he could do much about it when we had the long delay for a settlement - how wrong I was proved to be. I am pleased to see that Shaun has been able to move the dial by more than 100% to $60m. As James stated "Shaun is a masterclass of a MD". GLA Mremc

Bamps is correct . But just to be clear Shaun did not refer to any specific share raise or any ball park number of shares. PIs urged him to include retail investors in any future raise.

@Canary page 8 of the report - heading 'Modifying factors - states "Consequently, including potential debt, we see the funding as eminently doable, and not overally dilutive at the current share price, if at all, hence we dilute for options but not further equity."

Hi Zoros, Thanks. I don't recall hearing that point about the second decline (I may have been in the queue for refreshments - food or drinks?) but I did hear Shaun addressing second decline options when he was talking to everyone in front of the meeting room. I agree that Shaun said in the past that any offers would need to be good - but did he mean for the whole of GGP or just Haverion because he also said last night perhaps we could go it alone on one of our 100% tenements.

Does GGP need to offer anything other than being a good junior partner? We understand that currently NCM shareholders want bigger dividends rather than buying more assets, however, NCM want the 5% so no doubt they will want the final 25% too. So many known unknowns - what if we find another even half sized 'Haverion'? Cheers Mremc
