What would be the point of posting spurious numbers? It is the global figure that is key and we can compare that with the total that was totted up in 2020. Many of the names then have declared/ comfirmed their holdings again and that shows LTH are still here and have been 'sitting on their hands'.

Chain, it was jaw dropping for me over the 5% hence my post of 21 Mar 17:13 .
Just before lunch I walked over to the people at the table I refer to and "I said $25million ..........? "

To be fair they said it could be more.

Putting aside the 5% issue I left the meeting feeling better for the longer term prospect of GGP and that we are in very good hands with Shaun Day. GLA MrEMC2

THE_CHAIN I am sorry if I got it wrong but I did speak to top posters about my thinking at the time - did not see many smiles. Shaun spoke for many hours I did not hear every single word that was said.

I did not follow what Shaun meant by "look at the share price after each drilling result" - can someone help me out with that?

Hydrogen, I wish you had been able to attend the town hall meeting and lunch then perhaps you would play down your 5% hunches.

Shaun said, I think the 5% and bank debt should be enough to meet 123bn. It looked from his facial expression at the time that he was adding up the figures in his head.

So although our share of capex drops from 30% to 25% , the amount of cash we get for the 5% will be disappointing compared to the estimates that many posters have aired in the past , including myself.

Is the closing of shorts of 50m out of 4bn shares really going to make the share price shoot up; and wouldn't professionals cover their positions with options?

Are we really going to see a short covering squeeze? GDXJ recently bought millions of shares - shorters stood aside and the share price rose a little!

Would be different if we were taking about 200 - 300m short.

I would guess more patience and time is needed for the share price to really rocket. ATB MrEMC2

Hi Bamps, good to meet you and the others at your table. I understand that very many PIs, their relatives and friends first bought into GGP in the 20 - 30p. Would like to see messages from the people at your table based on what Shawn said in addressing concern about the share price and the future so they too can take some positivety from the discussions with Shaun. Lots of questions and responses about the 5%. The final thing I took away on that issue was that Shaun thinks that the 5% deal and debt financing should be sufficient to meet our $123m capex contribution.

11:30 to 2:30 how many other CEO would be prepared to give that much time to PIs and to answer so many questions directly - top CEO
