I did not hear today Shaun say that GGP can no longer be taken out on the cheap - he said the low share price made us vunerable to a take over. In fact he would not indicate what would be low nor what would be recommendable share price for a t/o. NCM are no doubt thinking about what they want to do with their 70% share of Havieron and this is where the options of obtaining 100% or selling came in and the emphasis on "think about that".

Anyway sure to come up again at the Town Hall meeting tomorrow.

On the share price, looking for London market to catch up with Australian market in the sector.

I believe Shaun when he says that he is not here to sell the company (having done a lot of the heavy lifting as CEO to get to the current position) and of course shareholders would have the final say.

Let's not get too carried away again with anticipation for the Scallywag drill results - body language when that question was answered was uninspiring. However, Ernest Giles happy smiles and enthusiam and looking forward to drilling there next year. Mining there in five years is plausable.

In the Annual Report June 2022 – page 35 on company performance it states that the share price 30 June 2021 was 17.6p and at 30 June 2022 9.3p : that is a significant fall in share price. The explanation given is that as the Company’s performance is still in the exploration and development stage, the link between performance and shareholder return is tenuous. Share prices are subject to the influence of metal prices and market sentiment towards the sector.

But the gold price has been going up and the share price has been falling for 23 months! How do you reconcile that when there has been nothing but report after report of excellent drilling results and growth of the resource at Havieron?

Answer: It’s the legacy issues stupid!! Now having dealt with those and secured funding we go on the offensive!

Pleased that inspite of the 48hrs postal strike, this morning I received my corporate letter allowing me to vote in person. So I will be attending the AGM tomorrow.

I'm thinking it is fair to ask the question at start of resolution 1:
I have been invested in GGP since 2017 and yet at a second successive AGM the share price is significantly lower than at the previous AGM - what hope/ assurances can the Board give, particularly to retail investors, that there should be a significant improvement to the share price by the time of the next AGM?

Possible follow up question:
A new Chairman and Board Members will be appointed shortly after this AGM will the Board be willing to set some corporate performance targets in respect of the share price for the next 18 months to five years?

Has anyone who uses Iweb received their Corporate Letter of Representation for voting in person at the AGM on 6th Dec? When I phoned customer services this morning they said it should be sent out today (bit of a coincidence!!). They won't send me a copy by email so I can only hope it is not delayed by the postal strikes.

Hi Merlin, Well, the company is still registered at Companies House as 'Active' and has a £42m tax loss allowance on books so it is not completely dead and cancelled.

Very long wait to see whether Paul Forrest (who has taken over the helm from Sarah Cope) comes up with any ideas for the use of the tax loss allowance which might benefit existing shareholders.
