Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I have a bad feeling about the us, wondering where it will leave the ftse......surely not the march low....I'm hoping a correction of some sort, us investors cant resist buying a dip so hopefully nothing too dramatic.
Tom, why so bitter, if you have that particular view just go short??? The higher we go just keep adding, with rise today surely with your opinion it's just another opportunity to sell. Anyway if you've had such a negative opinion on ITV youd have been short along time ago, you must have made a fortune right?
Don't forget, the bigger players will start coming back to their desks after the summer breaks and will be looking for value, Nex may well be on their radar, I suspect the bottom may well be between here and £1, again RNS appointing a new CEO and inside buying maybe the catalyst
Continuous downward pressure then almost 100% bounce, although the balance sheet and fundamentals are materially different here, when the Institutions are finished with stocks in favour they will turn to travel etc, won't be too long now
What's the chance of this getting hammered in the afternoon.....again, always expecting it now after a bounce, comment about ad rev and Christmas I believe should get this moving north agreed
Its the sentient of institutions at the moment, transport is very much out of favour, their perception would be public is not keen to travel in enclosed spaces etc etc. This will change, and will start to move, just unsure when. Certainly good value here, but we do need something from the board to the share price leaking, the appointment of a new CEO would be a start, followed be some decent director Buys.
Boo was trading @ £4 plus before the news, as far as I can see nothing has changed, rev and earnings should have increased since using other online businesses as a guide. Therefore Boo should be trading @ £4 plus and some, I reiterate anything under £3 is good value. I'm also v confident the interims will beat and we will get another glowing earnings report hence £4 plus end of sept.
Yes, its almost like a mean reversion strategy, which is also a popular trading technique, when a stock moves beyond 2 or even 3 standard deviations from the mean over a set period, the higher the probability the stock will move back to the mean. This is why I think ITV may well have some way to move up from here.
What we could also do with is some insider buying, you would of thought at these levels the board would be adding to their holdings, this would instil confidence and maybe support the share price going forward, surely won't be long now.
I Reiterate, we have a strong base between 54 and 60, been trading here for quite some time, usually stocks demoted from the 100 in the first quarter actually do quite well, bought another tranche yesterday, if they do go on a stop run it will be below 54, that may be the turning point,
Nice Paddy, that's the way to do it, then celebrate with a Guinness or 4 lol
Your never going to buy the bottom, unless your very lucky, but IMO, if the fundamentals and the balance sheet are ok, I'll cost average and build a position. This could be one of the best opportunities around at the moment, at least over the medium term2 - 5 yrs
I don't mind investor logic, I bought in today at what I think is one absolute bargain, and will continue to add if we see more weakness
I think its building a decent base, we've had the low in March @ 58 April 54 low today of 58, I'm happy to add more here, I think price is poised for decent bounce. Unless of course global markets crash again, however with so much fiscal stimulus I think the ftse is more or less supported at 6000
It was trading just off of 500 in Jan before the broad market sell off, I'm adding today, I think the worst is over, and Sept should mean alot more travel coming back, should be cash neutral, and building from here. Maybe alittle more downside to come but we have enough cash to see the company through. IMO way under valued, don't forget this is a global player, with rev from US and Europe, that was consistently growing rev and earnings yr on yr.
