The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Short term targets anyone? This position for me was meant to be short term taking half at the previous high, already nearly 10% up, plan was then to return to Boo and add to my long term position there, just not sure Boo is going to hang around at these prices...
For a sustained rise, the CEO needs to step away from the business, this will not go away until the media feel that the company can start afresh. I'm not adding any more money to my position until this is cleared up. I feel there is a whole lot more risk to come with this. Soon we will see jupiter dump their share, then the price will really fall.
After trading statement, I'm making this my largest holding and adding mon, cash positive Aug and sept, gives you an idea where this will be when business is back to normal, great company and a stock that's under the radar at the moment for most.
yes, just bought into asos, started a new position, liking the discount over there, similar pull back to boo, without the media storm. Still hold BOO though.
Now holding 30% cash, ftse not looking good
after much thought I have sold some more shares this morning, just left a small position, I was one of the lucky ones with an ave of 240,
Just sick and very tired of this witch hunt, which clearly isn't going to end soon, thought Boo would battle on through but we are drifting, off over 60p from fantastic results. To those who bought in before the results, I feel your pain.
yes I moved some profit from Boo into Nex, bought in at 128, also greggs and TW all doing well, added to BOO at 340, happy to topslice and top up as and when.
Still have target on BOO at 433, will take 50% and leave for the big 600.
352, the gap up low we had after the investigation was released.
Bablake, I posted this yesterday and I reiterate the same,
RE: Shadowfall - Time To Set The Dogs Loose?06 Oct 2020 23:14
Trust me there is no chance a tin pot outfit like shadowfall would move this share price with any shorting activity, this is purely to do with, profit taking (asos down) recovery stocks up ( travel..leisure..airlines...oil), whilst most stocks have been taking a beating over the last few months, BOO share price....and Asos has been rallying, it's just money moving from one sector to another....for now. We also have a double whammy with the media, shadow whatever and alike, Boo needed a pull back, we have now had one, and now set up to move higher over the coming weeks, that's it. I'm not worried and added today, and will add on weakness. Aim stocks are volatile, this should be accepted by all of us that choose to invest in them, the gains if you get it right can be exceptional. GL
So you have no solid factual information that brings you to the conclusion that something catastrophic is happening on the 16th then?
