Strangely Nipper I too had 36,000 shares although I need about £55 to break even on those,a prospect which I do not anticipate( a 10 bag from here making the Vec Group worth over £10 bill)Fortunately I did start buying again when we were on our knees & now have a large stake ( for me) which will son become a large stake in Vec.Vec appears to be undervalued,according to its supporters & with view to forthcoming newsflow next month, ( Finals for Vec & AGM trading update for SKP),apart from the potential for additional positive news I expect our SP to remain firm or strengthen further ( market conditions permitting).

Interesting that we SKP holders feel we are worth more than 40% of the whole & Vec holders feel they are worth more than 60%.Vecs pipeline is apparently stronger than our & although we have more revenue & profitability currently I assume that a rapid ramp up of revenue & profitability is expected at Vec.My view is that bigger in Pharma is better & we will be part of a £1bill + Group with the profile which goes with that status & if there is potential with a broad spectrum of complimentary products that we can gain a "first in class" reputation which will ultimately compell a Big Boy to take us out for a much higher price,maybe within a year or two.I hold a large number of SKP shares & will take 100% Vec paper.

Good news today regarding VR315 in the US

With VR315 in the US brings in a milestone & takes us closer to a new & potentially major product.

He was keen to transfer 80,000 shares into his ISA this early in the tax year.Perhaps he anticipates good news & wants as much gain as possible in his ISA ?

Good point well made Volcano-I also bought in the 40s,but first thing today I switched my Vec holding,( only bought on the announcement of the merger) into more SKP @ 423p.If all goes to plan Vec will be a FTSe 250 stock & positive news flow from SKP & VEC together with increased II interest will push our SP to a much higher level

Good point Newbyoldy but I have a decent holding in Skp & felt compelled to own some Vec too.Lets hope the media,analysts etc all consider this to be a great deal resulting in a win win outcome.

Exactly ! If the Market perceives this to be a great deal for VEC its SP will strongly recover,taking the SKP SP higher with it & with that in mind I bought into VEC this morning

Has announced the opening of a large fulfilment facility in Manchester so lets hope that they will want to buy a large number of our crates.Our year does not end until 30th April & it will be interesting to see whether we issue a trading update which would hopefully reaffirm positive trading together with rapid integration of our new acquisitions.I would not be surprised if there were not further acquisitions in the coming months as JG now seems to have the growth "bit" between his teeth & our improved SP has given a decent capital return to supporters of recent fundraisings,apart from a generous dividend,which is likely to result in strong support for any future discounted fundraisings.

I hope we do not buy this one !

Presumably the first order was complete ,as expected, by Jan 16 & we are hopefully well on the way todelivering our second order.Assuming all has gone smoothly & everyone is happy I presumethat the announcement of order number 3 may be imminent.

Another great find CS.Not sure how up to date his facts are though as turnover this year will be much higher than £14 mill & our market cap is approaching £20 mill.It will be interesting to see the increase in operating profits(with view to economies of scale & reduced raw material costs) &, more importantly,the increase in post tax profits & our EPS. It's a few years since I started investing when JG got involved & ,while still early days,it reminds us of how long it can take for a decent investment to come to fruition,which hopefully still has a long way to run.

Looks like another decent acquisition although not "cheap" which suggests to me that there is potential to grow this brand & sell more product to our impressive customer list.I am disappointed that a trading statement was not published as I am sure that those taking new shares at 20p must be aware as to how our second half has started before committing new funds
