Another good find said.I thought Finals were due today or have I got that wrong ?

STI share could be in the order of $7mill for 6 months & more than $14mill for the year , assuming the average gold price remains similar & production increases , as expected .No cash distributed as yet & our partners investment needs to be covered but this is great news for STI & IMHO leaves us vulnerable to a low ball bid, possibly by our partner.

Great find,again,Sid,& if Rotalac are doing as well as inferred by our expansion there the acquisition is looking like an outstanding bargain at a cost of only £160k from the Administrator. Looking forward with interest to the Finals next week & I still consider that almost 9 months without a trading update is far too long for a quoted company.

Let's hope our forthcoming results elaborate on our continuing supply agreement ( we hope) with Ocado & demonstrate integration of all of our acquisitions over the last year.

As the Fersters have been out for more than 18 months & as a family still probably hold more than 10% of the issued shares ( ie Warren & Stuarts holdings + others) I presume that if they wanted to sell out they would arrange an orderly sale to achieve the best price for them & maintain an orderly market in our shares.I am not sure where else they could achieve 5% together with a decent prospect for capital growth- but if they need the funds for other purposes they may have to sell.

Reported just after yesterdays close.No impact on our SP but a large buy for CRU & i wonder if one of the larger investors( eg 1 of the Fersters) has sold & it will be interesting to see if there are more sizeable trades ahead of imminent Finals.

Hopefully the weak � will be supporting increased export sales.

Should be announced in the next week or two & hopefully our acquisitions have all been successfully integrated & 2016 was a very successful year.Far too early to assess the impact of Brexit on CRU but the outlook statement is obviously very important.Hopefully 2017 has got off to a good start & JG is very positive about the current year, resulting in an increased dividend.Small selling may affect our SP as the free float is tiny but sustained small buying will have the opposite affect.Solid finals may tempt other IIs to invest here & there remains the possibility of further bolt on acquisitions, or something larger.

Strangely I did buy an additional 15k @ 19p this morning but not showing on LSE.I am not sure of my average now but it is about 12p as I had been slowly buuilding up a position over a few years & itwas impossible to deal in more than small numbers.Liquidity should now be better due to the larger number of issued shares but they remain very tightly held.

Bio.I just tried to buy more for my SIPP but could only buy 3000 @ 19p so didnt bother!I wonder whether any of the larger connected holders may have panicked out of a few onFriday or Monday & our SP was marked down as a result. No businesses are immune to recession &/or the as yet unquantifiable impact of Brexit, but we now have a much more diverse portfolio of offerings than a year ago & our margins will be effected by increased import costs , to the extent that we import, & any increase in the price of raw materials, but hopefuly the effect will be minimal.Results due soon will give JG the opportunity of advising us of his view of our future prospects in the brave new world.It will also be interesting to see how our new acquisitions are performing & whether there was iny repeatbusiness from Ocado.

Hopefully stronger markets on the back of a swing back towards remain ,together with the realisation that Vec now has a very strong portfolio & pipeline ,will see our SP continue its recovery tomorrow & should continue to recover ground lost recently.

Looks like a good appointment , freeing JG up to deal with strategy & acquisitions & RZ to deal with day to day operations,which must,with view to our recent acquisitions, been increasingly demanding on JGs time. I remain surprised that the company did not issue a year end trading update,with view to all the activity over the last 6 months & I presume that we project profits as expected for the year,( rather than substantially higher , or lower, which would have needed reporting).Presumably we will now have to await Finals, unless another acquisition presents itself,requiring funding from Miton & others.

Could not help myself so bought some more at 19.8p-the highest price ,by far,I have ever paid!

My gut reaction was to buy more at under 20p,providing a prospective dividend yield of over 6.25% ( assuming an increase this year to 1.25p),or 5% + if we stick with a 1p dividend.On reflection I will wait & watch & see if the SP weakness continues before buying more,the worse case being it will be an opportunity lost.I am surprised that JG did not issue a year end trading update although I appreciate that we have made 3 significant axquisitions over the period which may have put our accounts department under pressure.

In the absence of a year end trading update (which could still happen) & volatile Markets our SP may tread water until the Results offering 1 last chance to buy more before a further rerate.I have a fairly large number of shares here & do not want to see our SP fall,having bought continuosly over a long period of time since JG first became involved.I do anticipate that 16 will have been a great year for us with more growth expected this year & increased dividends, 1.25p not being unreasonable for the current year

Great find Sid-you really do dig out some useful information which supports our view that CRU is now in full recovery mode.I expect 2016 to have been a very positive year with an uplift in all KPIs & increased profitability,improved cashflow &an increased dividend .I have a reasonable stake at an average of about 12p,so no complaints,although I should have followed my instinct when the bad debt was announced last year marking a further reduction in our reliance on the CD/DVD market.I am tempted to buy more ahead of results at these levels but will see how Markets behave & will possible buy more if we fall to 20p.

First quarter sales increased to $63.8 from $56 which should result in the next milestone ( $8 mill , I believe) being received by SKP at some point over the next few months-which will add more cash to the coffers of Vec,apart from the increasing royalty due to increasing revenues

First quarter revenues up to $63.80 from $56 so we are on target to exceed $250mill for the year & receive the next milestone of,I believe $8mill.

850p for Vec once my Skp shares have been converted would make me a happy bunny & it would definitely be my round!
