I first invested here over 4 years ago , anticipating a change of management & a turnaround.I have to say that it has taken longer than I expected( allowing to buy more shares at what I hope will prove to be low prices) & assuming that todays gains hold & our SP continues to improve, it is beginning to look like a decent investment with a fantastic potential yield on an average cost basis.Well done to the 2 other long term believers here & particularly Cyanide,who I assume is a Scouser working for CRU.

The prospect of recovery from Costis & his crew are remote(& even if there was some recovery it would be swallowed up in legal & profesional fees,leaving nowt for us)but I do hope that the Administrators press for Criminal prosecution.If this was the US & once the case is proven they would be facing substantial jail terms. I have lost & made money many times over the years & I am adult enough to accept the consequence of my actions but this is the quickest fall from grace that I can remember & it resulted from a total con which was supported by the Auditors,Brokers,Analysts,industry experts ( Gartner etc). I appreciate that a small number of individuals expressed doubt about GBO but I suspect that most of them were just shorters hoping to make a few quid ,not believing their luck that it was a total debacle.

Dont beat yourself up about not seeing "the signs".I bought & sold GBO shares but have been left with a large number as I believed - The Board Blue Chip clients The Auditors Cannacord ( restating a 90p even after the publication of The report) Institutional Investors Gartner Ovum. The detractors from GBO were a very small number of well known individual shorters/manipulators & a US ( maybe) hedge fund with just 4 employees We were all duped by a group of conmen & thieves & I would love them to be brought to justice-preferably in the US where they could get 30 years. The writing is usually on the wall for some time before a company is put out of its misery & its SP has usually slumped to being virtually valueless previously.That was not the case here & even on suspension Costis said that they refuted the allegations & a full report would follow.His & his co conspirators confession to the rest of the (useless) Board was made on the sat morning & GBO was gone in a puff of smoke within a few days. I hope that our Greek Associate are forced to pay the balance owed ,even though it will just further line the pockets of the Administrator who must be loving this case as a cash cow. Sold all AIM shares & buying lottery tickets instead !!

Should be very positive ,as previously signaled, & should be improved further by revenue from the 2 X £1mill crate contracts together with revenue from our Neimann acquisition.Volumes are not high enough to suggest insider dealing although it could suggest that some employees ( below Board level) have been buying a few shares as they are aware of a positive environment in Warrington,probably for the first time in years.

Said it all-nothing for shareholders however many of our former advisors & or Directors who the Administrators sue. It is incredible that in barely a week a company can go from defending itself against what appeared to a malicious & contrived bear raid to being in Administration & effectively insolvent.The IIs ,particularly those buying in the last week or so, must be furious & embarrassed & there will be several Advisors & NEDS who should be holding their collective heads in shame & I hope that they are pursued by the Administrators although that will not help us.

Interesting to see if we get 7am RNS tomorrow or whether Costis will delay by a day or two.Our latest acquisition is supposed to complete by the end of this month although our Boards energies have been distracted over the last week.If the acquisition is perceivably a great fit & known in the industry it could help bolster our defences against the shorters .Additionally including a third quarter trading update,assuming v positive,would help.Assumingvour Board will no longer be restricted from buying following confirmation if the above they will hopefully by enough shares for the Market to take it seriously & hopefully Forum & other large investors will follow suit.TT have gone & hopefully other shorters will be compelled to close their shorts too. We will know more this week

First half ends next week & our SP tends to respond to particularly low vol. Hopefully our first 6 months has exceeded expectations enable a re rating of our SP to facilitate cheaper further bolt on acquisitions

I am long & increased @ 27 p in the last debacle- not sure if it will get that low again time but if it does I will take my holding up to " the big 1" ! It may be the last chance ever to buy sub 30p & Ennismore may have engineered the current debacle to give them another chance of a fantastic exit which they should take as Costis will surely blow all shorters away shortly AIMHO

Must be furious at the extent to which this best raid has again succeeded,just a few weeks after the last one took us down 25p before a strong recovery Hard to believe that some shorters aren't working together-although Zi thought that wasillegsl. Large amount if buying today despite slightly more ssles( if figs are to be flowed)

Perhaps they regret not losing @ 25p & they have created more instability in our shares in order to enable them to close AIMHO ETC

Sees me buying many more shares again-if it happens.Costis cannot issue comforting RNS as it would be unlikely to help .He needs to close acquisition currently under due diligence ,issue 3rd quarter trading update ,announce a large increase in his & other Board members holdings & hope that a forum & other IIs take this opportunity to fill their boots- not too much to ask?

We can speculate as to from who Forum acquired their increased holding but we do not know.They could have been in market purchases but they may have been acquired off market from a large holder. I am relieved that there has not been an announcement that Costis unloaded 11 mill shares to fund his lifestyle in the US. Lets hope our European acquisition completes v soon , the ID of the target is revealed,its not in Athens & it is well received by the Market.The RNS announcing completion could also be accompanied by a general trading update relating to the third quarter & continued expectations of strong growth. There could even be another bolt on acquisition in the offing,hopefully in the US to endorse our growth strategy there

The thought crossed my mind but ,as yet,Ennismore short position remains unchanged.However the shares were bought off market (as volume has not been that high)suggesting that they are likely to have been bought from 1 seller-I just hope it isnt Costis ( to buy a mansion in California)

Possibly great timing with view to todays RNS

Harold-I first bought @ 22 p sold more than half on t he double & recently increased my fairly large(for me) holding further in the. Last 4 weeks or so @ between 36p & 27p.My view is that we are still v high risk but still potential for v high reward & we have derisked over the last year or so.I am encouraged by Costis desire not to issue as many shares as possible,at any price,resulting in massive dilution.I am hoping that we are now much closer to the quantum leap in our SP

JG has done a great job of turning CRU from being a 1 & a bit trick pony in very competitive & declining industries into a more diverse group with various strings to our bow & with the potential for decent growth.Our SP sadly has not (yet) responded to our substantial ,which is understandable with view to our abysmal history & the fact that our recovery has not yet been reflected in reported profit & cash flow growth.Our dividend (currently about 5%) seems very safe & may increase again this year,which underpins our current SP.I have a decent number of shares here & while not expecting CRU to be a 10 bagger I do believe that our SP could double or treble over the next 2/3 years & held in my ISA & SIPP that is good enough for me. I may buy more shares ahead of our Interims & I believe that there could be. Scope for a trading announcement before then about a better than expected first 6 months-especially if JG has another acquisition in mind & wants to increase the value of our paperj

Following a recovery of nearly 70% from our recent lows over the last 3 weeks we should expect a pause,whatever the charts say & it would not be a surprise to see a drift back ahead of acquisition news & a possible 3rd quarter trading update.There is also scope for the big shorters to try to reduce their exposure at some point,although I appreciate that if they still believe that we are built on sand they wil remain conviction sellers & take out more shorts. Either way,my large stake will not be sold until we are much higher ( I HOPE)

The bolt ons may also enhance our overall offering to potential new clients & improve our USP substantially-ie a relatively small amount of additional functionality or security feature may swing "the deal "our way as opposed to one of our competitors. All are pieces in a jigsaw which appear to be developing nicely & we need to continue our controlled US expansion in order to be attractive to US investors & to be re rated towards fair value,which currently must be over 100p
