Rather large buy after hours.

Must be getting close to running short of money here, two rather poor RNS’s in quick succession and sp continuing to drift. Unexplained long delay in delivering assay results not giving investors any real confidence in BOD.

Not long now until this fund raising is out of the way, my advice is to ignore all bb comments and postings. Let the BOD get on with the job in hand and just wait for the RNS.

I too am surprised that the sp has not risen more ahead of the dividend. Aviva went ex div last week 8/4/21 falling from 420.40p to open at 406.80p, the high since then has been 412.30p from early today. I would expect similar action with LGEN. The U.K. market has done OK over the last few months but in comparison to other (US, GER, FRANCE) markets it still has considerable ground to make up. I expect our market (in FTSE100 index terms) to touch the 7300 level sometime in 2021 at which level LGEN could well test 330p/350p.

$12.4BN raised I wonder how that's going to be spent, story in the FT.

This smells fishy, a distraction from the assay results cash must be getting extremely low.

I'm not really into motor sport racing, but I've just watched (I've series linked all the progs) the introduction of all the teams, the climate change experts and the most interesting for me, the fuel cell technology, 75 seconds to a worldwide audience on just AFC Energy. Fantastic publicity, and I'm sure there will be more to come. Will watch the rest at a more sociable time.

A really interesting 3 days this week, expect some profit taking tomorrow from short term punters as we head into the long Easter break, however with the ExtremeE races over the weekend, the publicity and general awareness of AFC could well lead to much bigger things for all LTH.

Baring another pandemic you will never get another opportunity to buy these at 207p the current 17p+ dividend on your purchase price is circa 8.2%. I initially bought at 262p (I thought a bargain price) and subsequently bought more to average down to 228p, I will not be reinvesting the dividends but will be continuing to claim this excellent return, progress towards 350p well on the cards in 2021/22.

Pre the pandemic it was announced that dividends would be recommended quarterly, is this still the plan?

With AB off on his jolly in the desert what are the chances of AFC announcing a sale. With an order book of £1m 6 months ago and no sign of any more the share price has halved. The current cash burn must be huge, a trip to the desert with a tech team in tow it’s an expensive jolly.

Yes a good explanation, missing only that in the real world the companies tend to then create/issue new shares for senior management and staff thus diluting long term shareholders who they could have paid larger dividends to instead of buying and cancelling shares.

Its always good to read your thoughts Dick. Like you I have been disappointed with the events of the last 10 days or so, however as you correctly comment there should still be decent headroom for us shareholders to be happy, like you I agree that a one off winning bid to take the whole business out is preferred, fingers crossed.
