Even if there is no interested in a farm in (highly unlikely) some smart operator may well try an outright buy at a silly price, even 1$ a barrel gives JOG circa 6 x current market cap. They haven’t put in all this work to fail now.

at the half year report of ITM, no nasties in there and on a normal market day I think the response from the market would have pushed them much higher. Likewise the delivery announced by AFC this morning would/should have moved the sp. Both just unfortunate with timing. Both share prices are creeping back up, US opening market later may help the dow futures are currently positive, having been significantly down earlier.

I have never shorted any stock and I'm a firm believer that the practice should be banned. It is a fact that the UK regulator banned the practice during the 2008 financial crisis in regard to banks and insurance companies. However shareholder (mainly institutions) who lend their shares to shorters make decent profits from the practice with almost zero risk so it will continue.
