Lundy was asked about the loan on Twitter re. the lack of an update on the matter. His response below:

"I am in the loan. If the company hasn't updated the market, it is because nothing has changed as yet."

It might be that they're in the final stages of any RTO and hence have decided not to make a loan announcement until the final details are sorted.

Lundy (who I believe took part in the loan), when asked about AOGL on twitter replied "been a long day and still reading docs now. Anyways, fingers crossed" on the 16th April.

My gut says that this isn't likely to fold with Thom and Paulo both taking part in the loan, but WTFDIK. I certainly don't like how we haven't had a timely update, but all we can do now is wait and see.

I can't comment and also these situations can change so it may well be that the situation has changed since January when I was told about it and that I haven't been updated.

Not unless the RTO falls through.

Personally, I don't mind having us suspended while this hoohar in global markets is going on.

As long as we do come back (ideally with a strong asset - I think I know the one they're aiming for) then I will be delighted.

I just hope we don't go bust. I don't think that's likely as the BOD put money into the loan along with the six other shareholders and that collateralised against our least valuable assets (esspecially at the moment in light of the oil price).

I think we'll come back (touch wood), but I must confess that I would rather that we were updated a little more.

TBH, I find it hard to believe that the BOD would have loaned the company money along with the six other shareholders (secured against assets that were never exactly stellar in the first place, but now certainly won't be), if they weren't trying very hard to make sure that we come back from suspension.

I know the asset they are looking at, however, I don't have any idea as to how the company is progressing with acquiring it, if they still can.

The current oil price environment must make it pretty good for them to be hunting for assets.

I suppose there's a chance that the drop might impact their ability to get funding, but I would guess that the very high quality of the BOD would be able to work around that - esspecially as they would likely approach their existing blue chip investors, who would have always known the plan anyway.

The cash side of it also would depend on the size of whatever they were looking to RTO.

If it were a large target then they would obviously need to get more money together then the current assets would be worth.

Heard nothing, but form my past experience these things always seem to take longer than expected or hoped.

When you read between the lines it certainly looks like Stroll has the most to gain from a tie up with Aston Martin.

It would be nice to have some more news on the matter and also on DBX order numbers which I would imagine are still increasing as more positive reviews come out.

It'll be worth waiting for, but with all of these things you never know if it might fall through, or be compromised, etc.

All I can say, is that if they pull it off then (depending on the terms) we should be in a kuch better place.

No point in squabbbling about what various people do or don't know. I know that I know and that's all that matters to me.

I think that reading between the lines we will get some deal and I suspect that access to one deal even if its only half of the money would probably allow the company to open further credit lines for the rest.

I know what the RTO target is and if we can pull it off then it'll be safe to say that it really would be transformational, but there's not point in discussing it until we have market transparency.

When it comes down to this capital injection, the Aston Martin brand alone has to be worth over our current market capitalisation of 1bn GBP and in light of the parties talking about taking a position here I think we could bounce hard on completion of any deal.

For disclosure, I did buy ~£25k of stock today, so I would say this I suppose.

All sorts of rumours are flying around. I'm now hearing to the contrary on that, but we shall see.

Really, we will all be in the dark until we get an update. Hopefully we should get one soon.

I am inclined to think that his will be funded as much from asset sales as possible, because even though we don't know their worth, we do know that the BOD have reasonable holdings here, which they wouldn't willingly chose to dilute.

Right now we can't speculate without more information on the RTO in question.

I'm speculating, but I think this must be about getting more Red Cave acreage, personally.

I can see no other reason why they would go in this direction now that they have some Red Cave acreage and are on the hunt for a JV partner.
