Yeah, I think being so illiquid is a lot of the problem with LBE, but to be fair to them, that's just down really to how their business model works.

Right now, you only buy LBE if you want a punt on an RTO.

And.... Low and behold we're back to NT on bid... I can't even get a quote to sell 20 shares! Makes me think my buy this morning was rather premature.

Right now it's NT to sell anymore than about 1500 shares, so even with a little bit of buying down here (from me I should add) there's a good chance that we go into the 60p area again, I think.

I'm keeping a little bit of powder dry incase we drop again.

Also, I think the chance that they get an extension is very high, because the institutions primarily bought in the IPO at 100p, so they'd be taking quite a haircut if they didn't grant one.

Depressingly (and I say this as a shareholder) I think this goes lower. Right now it's NT to sell even 50 shares...

It feels at the moment like there's more room to fall here. I did a dummy sell about 10m ago that went to Negotiated Trade.

It's not showing on LSE for me, but there was a delayed 4m share buy at 2.71p at 3.14 pm. They were bidding 2.6 at the time so I think it has to be a buy.

If so, we can expect a TR1.

I think this will rocket in the next few weeks.

CCAP has everything:
- cash
- strong board of directors
- rumoured tech acquisition
- TR1 buyers, known for very successful trades in other stocks.

I think this could seriously move from here. My average is 1.65p and I'm not selling any until we see an RTO.

Yeah, I think it will be a bit wobbly for a while. Particularly, if there is still a seller looking to off-load here.

The danger is that as soon as any buyers appear that it gets sold straight into.

We'll see.

Yeah, that's basically me. I'm still here, but holding somewhat reluctantly and I reduced a couple of months back some of my stock from ~60p.

That being said, when my other ships come in I'll happily move money back in here, as I do believe they're ultimately a good team who will sort something, but the times scales had dragged on too long for me not to reduce a little to take the opportunities that I know exist elsewhere.

Ha! I hope that when they finally do come around to doing a deal that this suspends for as little time as possible - the last thing we wnat is to have to wait more than necessary.

Although, my corporate finance friends tell me that the trend now (if the company has the cash) is to do as much work in the background as possible and then only suspend if a deal has obviously leaked.

There had been a string of deals that suspended for ages and then fell through, so this is the preferred method.

I've just gone through the trades here and there was surprisingly quite a lot of buying on Friday.

I hold CCAP in my stocks and shares ISA with Interactive Investor.

I'd like to believe they're done, but from my personal experience I reckon they're probably still going as these things always seem to take longer to churn through than you expect.

For me it doesn't make a lot of difference, as I'm loaded up and am planning to hold into any RTO. That being said, it would be nice to get a small top up in if I can this week.

The whispers going around are for a tech RTO.

Now as the tech sector trades at such a high PE ratio I think it's likely that we see a very strong return here if they can pull it off.

Big positions being taken by smart money too, which makes me think some people know what's going on in the background. See the TR1 last week - that's the same guy who took a big position in CHF before that went on to do a deal with Polymetal and doubled.

I'm not sure if you chaps spotted it, but they took on a reservoir engineer in the summer, who looks like they then left - he said in his linkedin that his primary job was to do asset overviews. So I guess that they have either picked an asset now or are so far away from one that they don't need the engineer...

And more so because it's by CFD, which is interesting less because there are buyers (obviously nice to see nevertheless), but because someone actually gave them a CFD on LBE, which is pretty brave of the provider, unless it's a fully hedged position.

Rumours of a tech acquisition, so obviously the valuation will hinge on how the funds are raised, etc, but they get given very high PE multiples normally, so it wouldn't be surprising to see a really big rise from these levels.

Well, they have six months to do a deal from being made a cash shell and then they suspend.

Now if they do get na RTO the current method is actually to do as much paperwork in advance as possible, so any suspensions are a few days max.

It used to be that they would sign and suspend, but they found that so many were falling through that this is a better method.

I'd love news to be on the way, but TBH, it was NT to buy for a lot of last mkntha nd they would toae 35k shares live at bid premiums.

I think these limits are probably more about it being quite iliquid rather than because news is leaking, etc.
