I still haven't had a response yet, which really is odd, as he has had plenty of time and as I said has previously responded very quickly.

If anyone else fancies emailing them and asking the same question it might give them a nudge that we are actually expecting some results, or preferably even an RTO!

In my more irritated moments I really do think that the BOD could do more to keep us informed here - I understand there's a limit to what they can say with deals under negotiation, etc, but sometimes it really does feel that they're going out of their way to avoid saying anything, which is worse in a way, because it makes it seem like they're making little to no progress.

4th November last year was the last time and he was back to me in sub 10 hours, and the time before that in sub 5 hours (27th August).

I know others who have been in contact throughout the year and he has always responded in under a day, so I don't know what's going on, as I was only asking if he could advise for the date for FY results.

I emailed Julian Riddick on Friday morning about a date for the results announcement along with the idea that some have been stating that the firm might be delaying them to coincide with an RTO.

Strangely he hasn't got back to me yet (not that I'd read anything into that), but he usually gets back to me within a couple of hours, so that's a bit odd.

Maybe. Let's watch and wait. The one thing that does seem clear is that the results are nearly a month later than last year, which is odd.

They do have up until the end of June to deliver those, and frankly they won't be hard to write, so I think they're waiting for an RTO first, but that's nothing more than my gut feeling.

I emailed the company secretary for a date for the final results this morning and will post the date on here if I get a reply.

It's interesting. Blackrock have sold down by nearly exactly the amount by which Pentwater increased their position by. Odd.

The danger is that I convince myself a deal is around the corner, when actually the signs perhaps say something else.

Now, I actually do think a deal must be very close, but for reasons beside Blackrock's move today and I need to be careful not to see what simply isn't there.

That's my concern. I don't necessarily think it's a bad sign, but equally I wouldn't jump on it as a a positive, because that would surely be insider trading or fall under the market abuse act.

Now, that's not to say institutions haven't been asked if they would follow X principle, which would then be agreed post announcement, if that make sense.

I don't wnat to read into more than is there if that makes sense.

I don't personally think this is clear cut as we've had a few false dawns here and let's not forget, if Blackrock are inside on a fund raise, then surely they can't trade, so this is a very fiddly situation to assess, IMO.

So it actually makes it stranger, that Blackrock have been selling (yesterday for certain and possibly before that) but yet that it was from yesterday that you could hardly buy anything.

There's something not quite square about all of this.

Now it might be that any fund raise has been constructed in such a way so that Blackrock had to reduce a bit, going into it, but equally if they new of one, wouldn't that make them inside, meaning they couldn't trade prior to it?

One way or another something isn't adding up here. I just hope it works out in our favour.

I was going to say that I agree with you and we should be cautious with getting too excited here, but I do think there's a key difference between this time and in early July when we had a big move up:

In July you could at least buy stock, it did go to negotiated trade, but it was nothing like as bad as it has been this time around, where it has remained NT even after reasonable sells.

This time seems different, but perhaps that's wishful thinking on my part.

Very true, Paul. I think it's wise to be sensible and not get too excited.

However, I think that the biggest difference between where we are today and early July is that people could actually buy in July with normal market orders. Yes, it went NT from time to time, but here we've now had nearly two whole trading sessions with it being NT to buy at market.

There's something about the dynamic this time around that makes me think there's something else going on here.

Anyone buying now I think is stuck routing via fill or kill at normal market size (3000 shares I think).

Hopefully it's like this because there's a deal leaking, rather than because of just some mess up with the stock

Still NT for anymore than 2 shares! This is getting ridiculous!

I wonder if LBE are doing a fundraise as we speak and a load of market makers had subscribed for stock that they haven't been allocate, so they might know there's a deal coming, but have no stock to sell to people.

The problem with seeing 100p on the ask is that they'd have to actually let anyone buy in order for us to get there!

I think there has to be news coming. Even after that 12.65k share sale you still can't get more than 2 shares at 92p before it goes NT.

Gone back to NT to buy for me for more than 2 shares.

Glad to hear it, I meantioned it because I've done exactly the same before with CCAP and did execute it, so I then had to pay over the odds to buy back stock I had sold!
