I certainly expect ODX and ABDX to go up and I expect the LFTs to be around for 18m minimum... not at initial demand obviously if we can get on top of covid. I do think Avct is definitely a LTH for me. ODX - not so much. But ODX will do well this year. It was the safer hold as we knew they would manufacture if the government went with LFTs. The reward reflects that. Avacta was a much higher risk as it was new technology

I reckon 2.20 but you won’t be able to buy.... until 2.40 up up up to 3 and it will bounce down to 2.50 and back up and down ... just a guess btw...

I will always keep a holding here - when I said £3+ - at that point 50% of my portfolio would be Avacta... I’m not comfortable with more than 50% so I would sell small amounts - just to derisk. I have a lot more shares that I was comfortable with ... I just couldn’t stop buying !

I will probably end up with 50% of my portfolio’s value in Avacta so I will derisk amounts on the way up - but probably not start until £3+

Thanks Grant! I’m in ODX as well but 95% in Avacta across the 2 - I’m sure ODX will be doing very well as well! Whoop whoop!

PL - with all the articles - I don't see how there can't be a statement from Avacta. If press continues this weekend, Boris would have to mention something.... don't you think? I think if Boris doesn't say anything and Avacta make no statement by Tuesday AM, then perhaps it would drop back.

100% Agree. Fortunately Captain Stanley is gone - I know he was a thorn at NCYT and less so ODX - but don't need anybody here duplicating that effort. Bad Karma.

The detail in the article seems fairly well researched? I never know how much credibility to give the huff? Is there anything we didn't know? Or could the guy have researched just on this board????

One guy on there seemed to think he was being forced to buy - I find it odd that anyone reads anything on Reddit or here and doesn’t do their own research. Only you choose to buy and if you buy without doing research and looking to see whether the price is right then really it is just a punt... you win some and you lose some. You’ll probably lose more than win. We have all probably learnt the hard way - and we are all aware of the risks. There is probably enough fear here from those that have bought in the 190s and 200s to cause a bit of resistance on this share.

I think the the 8p spread is interesting... but it is about 187 to buy and 184 to sell.

I’m not necessarily expecting FOMO today - but I have been checking the price during the last half hour and lots are listed as sells that had to have been buys - which I know is likely as the spread lags Maybe they are offloading a surplus of shares or something

The trades up to 8:15 don’t seem to me that weighted on sells??? Seems a bit odd... any thoughts ?
