thanks Adouble, that's clear - it is definitely unsettling to see the SP decline like this however the market as a whole is suffering at the moment, especially oil and natural resource focused stocks so I am (at this stage) not connecting the decline with Lincoln (until I see something tangible). We are now back "up" 1.3p versus the midday price , in-line with a lot of other stocks which seem to be clawing back some losses

Bigger picture, at this market cap I would question whether this accelerates a potential t/o, as given the apparent productivity of Lancaster and the undeniable potential that the company has it now starts to look cheap (relative to future cashflow potential)

why do you say destination is not GL - its heading in that direction

the market is down, Brent is below $60, trading volumes are thin and we're waiting for newsflow - not an ideal combo

Adoubleuk - I'm trying to interpret your comments ref hoping that they have not made mistakes in their drilling again and supply boats going off to Scrabster. You also say that you have weird feelings but not "bad" feelings which is hard to understand. Overall if I read your post you seem to be indicating that the signals on the drill are not looking good - is this based on your best guesswork /intuition or is there any solid intel and facts behind these?

Someone else has made the comment that there is no point speculating until and if an RNS comes out, which surely it must if there is price-sensitive info to disclose. It is entirely understandable that genuine investors get nervous when there is so much riding on this but is it counter-productive to speculate without any hard facts?

trading volumes are thin at the moment and "bad news" in the form of the macro / global situation therefore tends to have an amplified effect on stocks at this time of year. Positive news-flow in the form of a good result at Lincoln combined with a return to more normal levels of trading activity should see HURR return to levels seen pre-CMD IMO. However even absent good news at Lincoln and based on the cashflow generated by Lancaster this would still be classified by most seasoned analysts as an undervalued stock so with the return of "normal" trading levels I would expect the stock to drift back up over the next 4-6 weeks.

Agree Daltry - Lincoln still very important for the destiny of Hurricane. I have indeed read all of the technical material and announcements over the last couple of years and am only reassured by that material but the outcome of Warwick Deep has however cast some doubt in my mind so I am really hoping this comes good. Still interested to know what would be deemed "commercial" flow rates (apologies my background is finance not oil).

Thanks Cebo - I am new on the forum but a long term holder of Hurr and have followed some of the good discussions here for a while. Looking forward to the results on this drill which I think is important but not existential for Hurr if Lancaster keeps delivering.

Reading the 2017 CPR, the report flagged a number of risks with Lincoln (section 7.1.10) - some of which have been addressed given that Lancaster is now up and running (ie it could act as a host facility etc). What work has been done by Dr Trice and team to address the others, viz. understanding the fluid properties, fracture distribution etc? Also - does the extensive oil column mentioned at the time naturally equate to commercial oil flow - and what would "commercial" be - 500 barrels p/d, 1000 or more? Would it be surprising if that extensive column did not produce oil at commercial rates as we saw in WD?
