that said watching the SP today has been quite dull which is quite surprising, given the potential for "action" soon. Not sure if anyone saw my questions re support vessels staying away from TL - how long would we expect that to last if they were flaring?

all the support vessels including Rem Trader have been distanced from TL since this morning. If flaring is ongoing how long would it take before the vessels then resume normal positions?

I think the time they will be able to do this is limited. If Lincoln flies (hopefully soon) then Hurricane turns from what some may currently see as a "one trick pony" into a gold-plated T/O proposition with solid earnings / cashflow potential long into the future. At that point the scope for supressing the SP by a few MMs will be reduced.

I guess the likelihood of someone on adjacent rigs or ships seeing a flare during daylight is limited. Talk elsewhere of being able to see it 50 kms away at night but I'm guessing one would have to be a lot closer in the day....so if it has flared today would it be possible that it has not been picked up by anyone?

thanks Slipanchor - ref my earlier comment and consistent with the views in "the other place" does this then indicate that flaring maybe about to happen?

Quite right Biffa and fair point. There are some characters around and he seems one of them. Agree with the comments that volume is low and hence share price quite sensitive at the moment as we watch and wait. Overall I am positive, albeit somewhat nervous.
