Usually, CINE release the report at 7am via RNS, about an hour before the market opens. A few moments later, they usually release it in a PDF format on their investor relations website, which makes it ideal for printing if that’s your kind of thing. CINE will also likely hold an analyst/investor presentation tomorrow, where Mooky, Nisan and other executives converge to discuss the earnings in further detail. You can find the link for this on the second or third page of the report when it is released tomorrow. Usually, you need to register with your name and email and they send you a link to access the webcast. At times, it might take you straight to it. If it asks you for a company, you can write ‘self’ or ‘private investor’ to get through it.

The executives also take a Q&A from analysts, and this is also really informative to listen to at times. The whole thing lasts about an hour.

Many who have been here for a while probably know the drill already, but decided to send this for those who may have recently joined us or who are unsure.

Absolutely Cruis, let’s see what happens. I remember there was a certain target that was set by analysts for tomorrow, so if CINE beats that it could be a pasture of green tomorrow :)

With a bingo game being played out tomorrow and the collective unity of us all, I’m rather excited for tomorrow. We know that with a cash-flow positive Q4, a good line-up for 2022 and solid proof that cinema is back, tomorrow will be a better report than last time.

@BlueBuxton, I think that a US listing would bring in more investors. Indeed it would affect us when dividends are eventually reinstated, but I guess there’s two sides to every coin. We’d probably receive more info on that.

In terms of the dividend (and in slight response to @Cruis) indeed it is still very early on to consider a dividend but Mooky doesn’t need to give a concrete date. I remember when Shoe Zone simply just said something along the lines of ‘we expect to bring the dividend back earlier than we expected’ in their earnings report and the price shot up. Mooky could say something similar tomorrow to put a positive spin on it, but no expectation of a solid date at all :)

I fully expect some sort of update on the US listing tomorrow. It might not be the announcement that it’s going ahead, but certainly something needs to be said about it tomorrow.

Haha Bonkers, I thought 0p is too specific so I switched it to bankruptcy, I’m just noticing that we’ve done the opposite of each other!

Salem going with a very interesting choice there. Anyone remember on the previous results day how there were people reading at 10,000 words per second and came here saying that the results were so bad just a few seconds after they were released?

Here is the issue with posts like these. Indeed, everyone here knows that we have high debt, but you should ask yourself why Polaris bought even more a few weeks ago after presumably completing lots of DD. You should also ask yourself how CINE managed to put a promotion on which saw the price of all tickets drop by at least 50%, some up to 86%. I don’t see any of our competitors doing the same at all yet.

I have a feeling that CINE had the Cineworld Day as a bit of a test to see how it would go. Perhaps we could see one in the US as well. We had about 650,000 admissions here, so in the US this would be huge.

@Hexam, indeed you’re correct that we’re not expecting a financial miracle out of Thursday, but Mooky is known for pulling an ace.

Expect something to be said about the US listing, they’ve been extremely quiet about that, so I expect something to be said. Either a more concrete timescale or the announcement of it going ahead. Either could be extremely beneficial to our share price considering how the US values such companies.

Hello all. First time posting here.

Having seen the current geopolitical situation, as well as the current state of the global economy as a whole (ridiculous inflation, potential substantial increase in interest rates etc), I have a small feeling that we may be headed towards a recession.

I think the inflation and the increase in gas/electric prices will be the cause of the problem. When you have people struggling to get their children to school and go to work due to the high price of fuel, then that’s the very basis of economic decline. Combine that with the fact that people were struggling to make ends meet prior to all this as well.

Hence, I’m thinking of taking out a position in Unilever. FMCG has proven time and time again to withstand the effects of a recession, and no matter what occurs people will always require the kind of thing that Unilever have in their portfolio.

Without having done proper research yet, it looks like the CEO is holding the company back quite a bit.

Would like to hear some opinions as to whether you believe that ULVR could soon experience a hostile takeover or an investor insurgence of some sort to oust the CEO and the BoD?

@BlueBuxton, I haven’t been able to top up today due to insufficient funds, but nevertheless I’m happy with my average price of 58p. If we can get a price like we did with Bond I’d be beyond happy.

Hopefully we can see a bit more of Mr Mark again, that was pure entertainment at times!

Thank you BlueBuxton, some amongst us have topped up at 27-30. SP is rebounding so they are already at a profit on that one.

RS appears to have timed it perfectly thus far, bought in on the day of the judgement and topped up at (what I hope is) a bottom :)

NEX also having a small rebound over there, perhaps Mr Mark has decided to take a punt considering they do school bus services ;)

Some may be concerned that the drop is CINE specific. Look at the rest of the stock market for a start, IAG down over 11% at the time of writing. NEX down nearly 9%. CINE is down 5%.

Unfortunately for us, it always appears that some bad price drop comes just before some good news. Cineplex happened just before Spider-Man.

Might decide to avg down a bit more, but nonetheless I’m still confident. CINE is performing well in such a difficult climate.

We all know that CINE never misses a chance to drop sometimes, it’s just a case of being patient :)

Congratulations on your top-up, and I’m quite sure you will be happy you did by the end of this year (hopefully) :)

Had a glance over here and noticed many people concerned about CINE specifically.

Just take a look at NEX, over 4 months of gains wiped out. Down 8% today. Same story over at IAG, TUI etc etc. It is simply the general condition of the market at the moment.

If I had some free funds, I’d be topping up right now. Each to their own, but I see no cause of concern right now at all. Polaris bought just a few days ago, so they see value at 40p. They also saw value in the 60s last time too. I’m confident.

Topped up around 37.5. When the US market reopens I will do a bit of shuffling around and sell some to put into CINE. Fantastic price today

Cinemark’s total revenue was $1.5bn, so looks like CINE should be able to beat that estimate of $1.9bn easily.
