The good ‘ol days of this bb being active and bustling are unfortunately behind us, I hope they will soon return.
I don’t get all the overly-negative sentiment around, indeed we are not in the best of situations right now, but how do people suggest that a company that was consistently profitable and handing out a good dividend just a few years back is going bankrupt? We had a whole pandemic come our way for crying out loud, what do people expect? I personally believe that if anything was to take CINE out, it would have been during the pandemic, most likely during October 2020 when the question of whether CINE would get the loan they need or not was the main factor and the sp was at 19p.
Now, we have proven to everyone everywhere that this company’s potential still exists. If lenders allow the company to fold, they are only shooting themselves in the foot, because CINE’s assets aren’t of mega-value. In all reality, CINE’s assets (projectors, popcorn makers and heaters, ticket machines etc) are only useful IN A CINEMA, so what do lenders expect to get out of it?
I have been considering topping up a bit more recently. Time will tell, but I’m not in any real rush to sell right now. Shares are just in the bottom drawer for now and I will wait and see what happens.
