Yes, the fall doesn't seem to make any sense to me either with every indication of strong growth continuing. I bought a few more this morning at 451p just to send the back down again......
Would hope I can make 10/20% on that over the next 6 months?

After the fantastic sporting events at the weekend I was full of optimism this morning and hoping to see a rise in the share price at last ..... MOT

Hi Walkers, Similar thinking and results to you over the period, remain ever optimistic, all seemed to be on track until the last few months. May be a year or two's delay ........

The frustration with this share for me has always been that I felt the fundamentals always looked very strong and at some point the value would come through and it would also provide a strong and reliable return to shareholders. I believe that to be more true than ever at this price. I have been wrong all this time, so the law of averages suggests I might get it right eventually.... :)

Yes SUFC, PPI followed by COVID has I am sure wrecked many retirement plans, including mine. I have held in varying amounts for a similar period to yourself, can can only hope for the return of the long awaited dividends after this years demise despite the uncertainty. I hope patience is a virtue .... :) MOT

We all have our views, and this board should surely only be about sharing views and information with a bit of fun. Don't know why people seem so worried when others have a different view. Lloyds has been disastrous for me over the years but I am still in deep which is my own choice.
The sniping and aggravation gets a little wearysome at times.

Still seeing it as a pound share myself with a 6p dividend...... but then again I am in deep and have been thinking it for 10 years before the next disastrous turn...... hope I live to see it :)

Same here...... original aim was £1 by which time paying 7p in dividends.... :)

Like many on here, I have also shown blind faith in the long term recovery prospects and built up a sizeable holding at a considerable loss! My reasoning has been for long term relatively secure dividend income so always planned as long term hold. In my planning I was hoping for dividends heading up to 5p within the next couple of years..... looking a little disappointing now :) . It may be wishful thinking, but I am still hoping for strong dividends in years to come after the current crisis. Anybodys guess, but I am certainly locked in for the forseeable .....

Hi Richard, Yes, many questions to be raised by the government deciding whether companies pay dividends. I suspect it wasn't the CEO's decision and politically it would be difficult for him to indicate the position expected next year.
Whilst it is obviously an awful situation at the moment, I had invested for the long term on expected strong dividend returns to support pension plans . Not so worried by the share price collapse as long as the dividend payments return, hopefully within a year which I would expect. Fingers crossed! Everyone stay safe and well.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I would be interested in any thoughts and views as to when the dividend may return. Whilst it is a part of the price to be paid for these terrible times, it was a significant part of my retirement plans.
My own thought is that I would hope it would resume for this time next year, but may be wishful thinking that this will be over and we will have some normality.

Good start to the year , donation paid, Lloyds heading upwards and Leeds heading for promotion ....

I also expect very positive progress with the end of PPI. Personally I would like to see the dividend pushing up towards 5p and buyback £1m. £1 such a long awaited landmark .......

1 day of positive news and suddenly I am crazily over optimistic and thinking my target of £1 and 0.05 plus dividend by 2022 may actually be possible lol

Great set of results and ambitious investment plans for future growth, hoping the initial price response continues upwards :)

I believe the announcement of the 2018/19 results is next Tuesday. Assuming a good story following the recent update we may see a welcome lift again after the recent slide in the share price?

Looks like a promising update, though unusually no indication of expected revenue and profit result against city expectations.Could suggest a variance to city expectations either positive or negative? Response has been very positive so far suggesting the former.
